Shot-peened and pre-set so they cannot sack out. All Race Tech HP Springs have the highest rate tolerances in the industry. These are the finest springs in the world-guaranteed.
OEM spring rate is 6.7kg/mm. We offer stiffer spring rates for riders who wish to carry luggage or just prefer stiffer suspension.
Race Tech shock springs require adapter collars which are included with your spring. *Spring color may vary due to specification requirement and availability.
The Moab shock from Cogent Dynamics will change how you feel about your KLR. You may like it now, maybe even like it a lot, but you will absolutely fall in love with it once you mount up a Moab shock.
Spring duties are handled by a custom spring available in either Standard or Heavy-Duty weights. The Standard spring will be fine if you are under 250 pounds and don't ride with luggage or passengers often. Ride heavily loaded or with a passenger regularly and you will probably want the Heavy-Duty spring.
For a true comfort and performance package, we highly recommend upgrading your front suspension at the same time.
If you have '87-'07 KLR, you MUST order a new mounting bolt. Not required for 2008-2018 models.

Included in this kit are fork springs, Cogent DDC (Drop in Damper Cartridge) performance cartridges and three bottles of 5w fork oil. Refresh those tired old forks and make them better than new. These DDCs from Cogent are easy to install. No taking the forks apart, no drilling of the damping rods, nothing. Just take them off, flip them over to drain the oil, add new 5w oil, drop in the DDCs and then add the springs and spacers and then install the caps. Preload spacer material is included with the .47 and .70 springs, additional spacers are not needed with the other kits.
This upgrade offers better control off-road as well as on. Less brake dive keeps the fork up in the middle of the stroke on-road and better control off-road whether it be rolling water bars or bouncing off the rocks.

NOTE: When swapping out the chuck, use plumbers tape on the hose thread. Wrap the thread, in a clockwise direction with 3 - 5 wraps of plumbers tape. Screw on the new chuck and tighten. Failure to follow these instructions will result in air leak!

This kit includes a DOT LED headlight assembly with plug-and-play wiring harness, a specially designed adjustable steel mounting bracket, and all the required installation hardware.
How does this headlight compare to our original TW200 kit? First and foremost, this kit has SAE/DOT markings and a much wider/brighter high beam pattern. The low beam is very similar to our original kit: wide, flat, and bright but with more punch. The DOT headlight assembly has also proven to be more durable than the original headlight.
This is a simple three piece kit you can install in minutes that cleans up the stock DR rear-end.

We recommend a "Fixed Rate Flasher" unit for use with this kit. When you install aftermarket signals it changes the load on a factory signal system.
This kit does not include parts to mount aftermarket turn signals. The pre-installed processor board allows the turn signals to be integrated in to the tail light.
The cush hub (sprocket carrier) bearing leads a tough life. This is especially true if your cush rubbers get old and soft. They can allow the chain to pull the cush hub sideways putting a twisting load on the bearing. If there's any question about the condition of your bearing replace it now with this double sealed bearing and quality seal.

Designed primarily for the off-road / dualsport enthusiast, this shield keeps pressure off the rider's chest while commuting from home to adventure and back.
This windscreen mounts securely to the three stock windshield holes as well as the two side cowling mounts. The shield is 14 inches tall, 13 inches wide at the bottom narrowing to 11 inches at the top. Made from 3/16" military aircraft grade cast acrylic.
The touring windshield from Parabellum has been designed, developed and tested using all the knowledge and experience of the KLR riders in their own shop. Using the stock mounting points as well as the cowling mounts increases the rigidity of the shield.
All new fasteners are included. This new design allows you to move your handlebar to different positions and will not interfere with a stand-up position for off-road use.
This shield is constructed of 3/16" military grade cast acrylic that is 17 inches wide at the bottom tapering to 16 inches at the top.

The custom shield bolts to the brackets out in front of your instrument cluster. With the shield separated from the front of the bike you can adjust it for the optimum height, angle and airflow. This lets you set the shield for your particular height and riding position while pulling lots of air underneath it which iscriticalfor smooth comfortable wind protection.
Formerly DSA, now ProCycle brand, is a plastics kit in three colors - Black, White, and Blue, as well as Blue fenders with White side panels and Black fenders with White side panels. (headlight cowl not included).
Vacuum molded, these parts are a design improvement over the stock pieces. The side panels have a crisper, more angular look than the stock parts while the front fender is shaped like the DRZ400SM OEM front fender. Big enough to be functional without wind-steering the bike like the stock fender does.
Kits include front and rear fenders, a new LED tail/brake light and license plate holder, and both side panels.

Your automatic cam chain tensioner is spring loaded. This can make it difficult to install as it wants to extend before you have it bolted into place. This handy tool will back off the cam chain tensioner mechanism and hold it for you. No more awkward 3-handed contortions are required to get the tensioner installed.
