MAGURA favors use of their 'MAGURA Blood' for its clutch systems. Mineral oil is non-toxic and not hygroscopic. Regular changes of the clutch fluid are not required.

Make it easy to pull the rear axle out of your V-Strom. This little handle goes into the hollow axle and then tightens down to give you a handle so you don't have to tap it out from the other side.

Use this installation tool from Cogent to be sure that your Cogent Drop-in Dynamic Cartridges are installed correctly. A strong magnet in the end holds the cartridge firmly while you lower it into your fork leg. Then slide the spring over the tool until it holds the DDC down, then gently remove the tool. That simple. Never again question if it is properly seated on the damper rod.

The Cogent Dynamics DDC valves are the most cost-effective upgrade you can make to your motorcycle’s forks. Unique and the first of its kind, a DDC kit is available to upgrade many motorcycles that are originally equipped with simple damper rod type forks as front suspension.

We do recommend stiffer than stock front springs to bring the full potential of the DDCs out. Up to about 200 pounds (rider with gear on) we recommend the .85 kg/mm springs. If you are above 200 pounds (rider with gear on) you should probably go with the 1.0 kg/mm springs.

The SignalMinder unit is designed as a plug-in accessory for many Japanese bikes. SignalMinder uses a microprocessor to cancel the turn signals at one of three selectable time outs; 10, 20 or 30 seconds.

You can also make it so that all four of your signal lights also act as running lights and establish a dual-channel system on your bike. With the dual-channel system, when you activate the RIGHT turn signal three times in succession, you get 4-way hazard flash lights.

These pegs from SW Motech are a very cost effective way of getting a much larger footpeg than stock under your feet (2" by 3"). The removable and replaceable rubber cover is a another great feature. It helps isolate vibrations through your feet on those long highway jaunts but you can remove it in a few minutes when you get into slippery conditions that require better traction. Most fuel injected systems are very lean in their stock configuration. This is good for economy and emissions, but not performance. This unit allows you to adjust the Fuel/Air (F/A) ratio without remapping the ECU and getting into complicated software programs. The PowerJet Fuel Controller allows you to adjust the fuel map from -4% to +10% by selecting one of 10 built-in settings (including stock).

The device works by measuring the outside air temperature very close to where the stock sensor is located and then adjusts the signal from the OEM air temperature sensor to the ECU to make use of the Air Temperature Correction factor that is built into the stock ECU. The ECU is told that the intake air is a little cooler than it actually is and it responds by richening the injection map very slightly. How much depends on your setting on the PowerJet. This will result in improved throttle response, especially if you have an aftermarket exhaust of any kind.

PowerJet is easily installed by plugging it in between the stock AIT sensor and the bike's wiring harness under the seat. This can be done very quickly as they are exactly the same plugs. Unplug the stock connection, plug in the PowerJet on each side. The PowerJet fits easily under the seat behind the battery as it is rugged and waterproof. PowerJet comes with a full one year warranty.
