If you are adapting a GSXR or Hayabusa muffler to your DR650 you will need a fresh gasket that seals between the muffler and the mid-pipe adapter. There are two sizes depending on which OEM muffler you are using. The 4-bolt mufflers use the 2-1/2" OD seal ring. The 3-bolt mufflers use the 2-3/4" OD seal ring.

By popular demand. This is our own mid-pipe adapter kit for the GSXR exhaust cans. The unique design works with both 3-bolt Hayabusa and 4-bolt GSXR mufflers. It features all stainless steel TIG welded construction with a laser cut adapter. A spring tensioned slip joint allows for heat expansion. A stainless steel hanger strap allows it to attach to your original muffler mounting point. No welding is required. Mid-pipe length is approximately 17" long.
This mid-pipe does not require a stock muffler joint gasket when used with the stock headpipe, the SS Pro-Flow, or the FMF headpipe, eliminating the hump in flow.
Don't forget a fresh seal ring gasket that fits between your muffler and mid-pipe adapter.

The DG RST (Reduced Sound Technology) muffler is the quietest DG muffler and is designed especially for dual-sport machines (Just 84db @ 3200 RPM). A new baffle design dissipates sound waves reducing noise output in a very efficient manner. This new design also stretches out the time between muffler repacks. Included is a Stainless Steel mid-pipe, USFS Approved Spark Arrestor and a new Aluminum end cap.
No repacking required! The Leo Vince X3 Enduro is made with TIG welded stainless steel internals and aluminum outer shell. It features a semi-direct chamber design that is maintenance free. It's quiet too! Our own in-house testing showed a 84dB sound level using the USFS J1287 testing procedure. 84dB is louder than stock but significantly quieter than any other aftermarket muffler. It includes a certified Spark-Arrestor.

The RS-4 Race Series slip-on gives the CRF250L more power and torque, the RS-4 provides more punch at bottom end without sacrificing the mid and top power. The latest in muffler packing technology. Spec 31 high performance muffler packing resists breakdown up to 1400°F, is universal, and is easy to install.

Heat Shield

Their baffle was designed to replace the stock insert. The baffle produces a nice note compared to the de-restricted stock version and dyno test results showed an increase on 2 hp up top.
A noise test on the insert was conducted at the EPA Victoria Vehicle Test Station at Macleod under controlled conditions with Class 1 meters.

Some extra details:
- The ADR test is conducted at an engine speed which is 50% of the engine rpm at which the engine develops maximum power. However, this engine speed is determined when the bike is in restricted form, with a throttle restrictor that stops the throttle being fully opened. This is why the ADR engine test speeds are so low. However, they are the engine speeds used to determine compliance.
- On the ADR test, the B&B tip was over the signature noise emission, but a tolerance of 5 dB(A) is allowed before prosecution would be initiated. With this tolerance, the insert would not be prosecuted as it is just 4 dB(A) over the signature.
- When tested with the standard OEM tips (as fitted when delivered from Suzuki Australia), the Suzuki came in at 95 dB(A) for the ADR test

This Quiet Insert comes stock in all new FMF Q4 mufflers. If you lost yours, this is the replacement you need.
It will fit Q4, Q4 Hex, Powercore and Powercore Hex mufflers.
It will reduce the sound rating of the Power Core models, from about 99db down to about 96db.
Please choose the correct Insert for your muffler. If you are unsure of the year that your muffler was manufactured you can easily identify visually which insert you will need.

The science behind the MegaBomb header may be FMF's greatest engineering accomplishment to date. Our very own high flowing head-pipe is made in the USA using a CNC (computer numerically controlled) mandrel bender for an absolute perfect fit. It is a high quality 2-piece 18 gauge stainless steel head-pipe with 1 3/4" outer diameter, compared to the stock outer diameter of 1 1/2".
The SS Pro-Flow is a tested upgrade over stock that will bolt right on with no modifications needed. It is compatible with any combination muffler/mid-pipe, as well as all motor configurations of the DR650 '96-current.

The FMF Powerbomb is a four stroke header pipe unit that has a unique bulge precisely located in the header system. A "pre-muffler" of sorts, the Power Bomb actually lowers sound output because it creates more surface area to absorb the sound medium (exhaust). The surface area of the perforated core lets the sound exit into the absorbing material (steel wool packing) and then allows the air to expand, cool and ramp back up with the higher pressure air. The result? The FMF Powerbomb is instrumental in reducing the decibel level on any four stroke and because of the expansion and contraction on exhaust through the system, the flow has been increased by nearly 10%. That means more power throughout the range.

These replacement header exhaust stud bolts are made of super corrosion resistant 316 stainless steel. They provide excellent resistance to chemicals and saltwater to give your exhaust system a hassle free service life.
If you've got an older XR650L, you know the struggle of removing the O.E. nuts from the studs. They either snap, remove the stud or come off as they should. At some point you're likely to snap on or come across a seized nut to stud. These bolts are a superior upgrade to the O.E. nut and stud.

The T-6 Stainless Steel Exhaust System offers the same benefits as our popular Ti-6 Titanium Exhaust System, but the T-6 is constructed of stainless steel and aluminum for increased strength and durability while giving riders a more affordable alternative to titanium. The T-6 comes with a removable United States Forest Service (USFS) Approved Spark Arrestor making it easy to alternate between off-road and closed course riding.

Another great combination package - the FMF Powerbomb header and Powercore 4 Muffler.
The Powerbomb header promotes better flow by allowing a small expansion of the exhaust gasses improving scavenging. The 'bomb' also acts as a pre-muffler taking the edge off of overall sound levels.
The PowerCore4 muffler was developed to increase the horsepower and torque throughout the entire power curve and give you a noticeable power increase that is very usable and beneficial, no matter what your riding style or ability is.
Some of the features of the PowerCore 4 include: space age internal packing for maximum packing life; hi-flo modular end cap; internal shape of core uses hi-flo technology; enhanced sonic evacuation provides for higher flow and increased power and removable spark arrestor.

Hard anodized oval shaped aluminum muffler with a TIG welded reinforced muffler bracket and red powder coated stainless steel end tip. Sleek muffler design gives you lots of clearance and it has a removable screen-type USFS approved spark arrestor. Head and mid-pipe are constructed from 304 stainless steel. Entire unit is pounds lighter than stock and gives great horsepower and torque gains throughout the RPM range.

Headpipe
Our very own high flowing head-pipe is made in the USA using a CNC (computer numerically controlled) mandrel bender for an absolute perfect fit. It is a high quality 3-piece welded two into one, stainless steel head-pipe.
- Primary tubes: 1-1/4" diameter
- Collector tube: 1-3/4" diameter
- Secondary tube: 1-5/8" diameter
The SS Pro-Flow is a tested upgrade over stock that will bolt right on with no modifications needed.
We recommend a new exhaust gasket when installing your new SS Pro-Flow.

The Chilly Exhaust Heat Shield is the most effective heat shield on the market. The innovative three piece design consists of a top shield attached to 2 rails with rivets and spacers.
