The universal E-series adapter plate is designed to add a Givi Monokey topcase to most existing flat rear luggage racks. All necessary mounting hardware and installation diagram for attachment to generic tubular-steel flat rear luggage racks is included. This is a universal plate so making it work on your tail rack might need a little self engineering.
Typically installs quickly using simple hand tools. Mounts standard Givi Monokey topcases (ie E45 Elegant, E460 Delux, E52 Maxia), or the flat, stable surface can be used as a solid toprack when the topcase is not needed. The POD-300 is weather-resistant, so it can be used in any environment. The high-contrast display is easily viewable in direct sunlight. It includes a velcro backing for easy installation and removal, or you can purchase a handlebar mount separately.

Billet aluminum lowering links. Lowers the rear suspension approximately 1 to 2 inches depending on application.
*Important when lowering the rear suspension you want to raise the fork tubes in the clamps an equal amount of inches that the rear is being lowered. That way your bike will sit level when done.
Note: We only recommend the 2" lowering links for lighter non-aggressive riders as they allow the tire to rub when near bottoming.

Some KLR models from 2004 - 2007 may have a longer shank that do not allow the bolts to tighten to the bearing. If that is the case, we recommend the addition of either a 14 mm split type lock washer or a 15 mm flat washer under the nut of both link mounting bolts.

Lightweight, for reduced unsprung mass. Straight rate springs will give better control in the rough stuff. Sold in pairs.
Rebound Separator Valves replace the shock shaft nut with an asymmetric valve (provides a different flow rate in each direction of travel) to increase traction and improve bottoming resistance and pitch control.
Why is this needed? On a standard shock the Low Speed Rebound Adjuster flows the same on compression and rebound. In testing, when the lowest speed rebound damping is quick enough to get good traction, the lowest speed compression damping is too mushy. This causes a vague feeling and bottoming on long duration hits like big dips or gullies in Dirt. For Pavement RSV's have the added benefit of pitch control (front to back movement during acceleration and braking). This keeps geometry more consistent.
The Valve has a partially drilled bleed hole in the center. IT MUST BE DRILLED BY THE END USER TO THE PROPER SIZE (2.8mm).

This is a great combination and a big 'bang for the buck' performance increase.
No re-sleeving required. You will have to have your cylinder bored to fit the larger piston.
ProTaper's ADV handlebars give you a bar taller than most with extra space on the control portion of the bar.
