The Moab shock from Cogent Dynamics will change how you feel about your KLR. You may like it now, maybe even like it a lot, but you will absolutely fall in love with it once you mount up a Moab shock.
Spring duties are handled by a custom spring available in either Standard or Heavy-Duty weights. The Standard spring will be fine if you are under 250 pounds and don't ride with luggage or passengers often. Ride heavily loaded or with a passenger regularly and you will probably want the Heavy-Duty spring.
For a true comfort and performance package, we highly recommend upgrading your front suspension at the same time.
If you have '87-'07 KLR, you MUST order a new mounting bolt. Not required for 2008-2018 models.

Cogent Dynamics Mojave product is a drop-in replacement for the DR650 stock shock, no modifications necessary. Mojave is not simply an improved Suzuki shock, it is a brand new replacement shock that is a totally engineered suspension solution to suit your needs.
Each shock is assembled and tested on the Cogent Dynamics suspension dyno before being packed up and shipped. Like its bigger brother the Mojave Pro Series, this will make an incredible difference in the handling of your DR.
Mojave Improvements over stock: Mojave upper mount: uses a precision spherical bearing with dust seals, which accurately transfers damping forces to the motorcycle frame.
Internal improvements: Cogent designed shaft, seal head, damper piston, adjuster and clevis. Mono tube construction: precision honed, super-stiff steel body with an upper body cap machined from billet aluminum. This shock package includes the CNC machined Bling Ring Preload Adjuster Collar and Preload Bearing that will make preload adjustments easy.
Select the spring you want installed based on the load you plan to carry. For riders (and gear) less than 250 pounds we recommend the 7.6 kg/mm spring. You may choose to add the Hydraulic Preload Adjuster to make it the easiest of all. All you do is twist the knob. Includes mounting bracket for knob unit. (Some CA carb compliant models may need slight modification for mounting the preload adjuster.)

You can adjust the preload on your rear shock quite easily, why not on the forks as well? These caps give you the ability to adjust the spring preload in your forks to match your load.

JT steel rear sprockets are manufactured using only the finest grade of C49 high carbon steel.
Two styles of rear sprocket were used on the DR350. The 90-95 'S' and 'SE' (street legal) models have a cush drive hub. The 96-99 'S' and 'SE' as well as all of the 'dirt only' models have a non-cush rear hub. Select your sprocket accordingly. If you are not sure, look at your bike. If the sprocket is bolted directly to the wheel hub you have a non-cush model. If your sprocket is bolted to a separate sprocket carrier you have a cush drive model.
Now you can have minimum output shaft wear, minimum chain drive wear with the FRITZCO DRIVELINE sprocket. The design of their sprockets provide correct chain alignment, allows for full spline contact with the XR650L's output shaft, fit the counter shaft either way, and straight up no hassle installation with the OEM two bolt retainer and fasteners (except 13 tooth that comes with it's own quick change retainer). Their sprockets are machined from alloy steel that is comparable in every way to OEM Honda and the best offered by other manufactures. The sprockets are then given a heat treatment that provides a compatible sprocket for the Honda output shaft and longest wear life possible.
A way to double the sprockets life would be to have a sprocket that fits on the shaft either way so both sides of the teeth can be used. Bear in mind you can't wear one side of the teeth all the way through, then flip the sprocket, and expect double life. You must reverse when a normal wear pattern develops.
16 tooth sprocket is the biggest front sprocket that will run with the standard 110 link chain and 45 tooth rear sprocket on an XR650L The OEM cover will require modifying to use the 16 tooth sprocket on your XR650L.
High Quality chain. Will need to be cut to fit your sprocket combination.
Lower friction and longer life. X-rings have twice the sealing ability as compared to o-rings. They do a better job of keeping the lube in the links and the dirt out. DID VX chains have a reputation for being the best chain you can buy for dual sport riding. DID VX chains come with rivet type master links.

This regulator/rectifier requires ungrounded inputs from the lighting coil. Many lighting coils are internally grounded and will require modification often referred to as 'floating the ground'. This simply means cutting the grounded end of the lighting coil wire, extending it and running the extended end out of the case along with the original 'live' end of the lighting coil wire.

Cycle Racks Bag Supports can used for many different Cycle Racks and can be used on either the front or rear rack.
When they developed these, they wanted a functional, yet "Easy On- Easy Off application. The pig tail hook goes up, over and underneath the bar of the rack, they can also be used upside down on the rear rack as side boards. This larger fuel tank has double the capacity of the stock tank at 3.6 Gallons, yet very slim and sleek. This tank has a custom design that will allow the use of OEM & Maier side covers. These tanks are made with POLYETHYLENE CROSSLINK for extra strength and durability.

Requires OEM/Stock petcock and oval rubber grommets for install.
