This is one of the few plastic parts on the DR650 that can ruin your day if it breaks or fails on you. This gear helps drive the oil pump to circulate oil throughout your entire motor, without it, your motor will fail entirely. The idler gear is not known for being a common failure point in the DR650 motor but, it has failed riders in the past. Usually in the form of a broken gear or stripped teeth. Upon inspection, look for any kind of crack, chipped or missing teeth on the gear. It is not a complicated repair to swap an old gear for a new one, as the best time to replace it is when you've opened up the clutch side case cover for another repair i.e., (NSU screws or clutch hub bushing replacements). This is an O.E. Suzuki part.

Here is the O-Ring that fits in the carburetor manifold. This is the manifold that holds the carb up to the cylinder head. The O-Ring mounts between this manifold and the cylinder head. When this O-Ring fails it allows air into your cylinder and makes your Air Fuel ratio too lean which causes the engine to run too hot.

48 and 50 sprockets require removal or modification of your lower chain guide.

Chain Size Recommendations:

• 110 link chain for a 42 tooth rear sprocket
• 112 link chain for a 46 tooth sprocket
• 120 link for the 48 and above sprockets.
• 120 link chain will have to be cut to the proper size for the 48 and 50.

The RAM-B-238U consists of a B size 1" diameter rubber ball on a 2.43" x 1.31" diamond plate. The plate has two holes 1.912" from center to center, matches the industry standard AMPS hole pattern and will connect to a large variety of RAM mounts and third party cradles.

These springs are custom wound specifically for the XT225. Stiffer than the .36 kg/mm stock springs, these will make your front perform significantly better. Combine them with the Cogent DDC's and you will be very happy with the results. Sold as pairs.

Make the Edge-2 installation as easy as possible with an Optional Connector Set. This allows you to put an OEM style connector on the Edge Taillight making the connection simple. Stock plug will go right into this unit and off you go. Will need a crimp tool or set of needle nose pliers to crimp connectors on.

This product is a windscreen lip that will offer more protection from the wind and weather. These mount directly onto your existing windscreen.

DP brakes are available in two different compounds for the DR. 

The standard Sintered metal material pads provide powerful braking with industry-high HH+ friction rating that is equally adept in wet or dry conditions. They have a quick break-in period and excellent initial response. An oxide-based ceramic material on the rear of the backing plate keeps heat away from the caliper piston and fluid in extreme conditions giving a fade-free performance in even the harshest conditions.

The EBC DRC kit is the best way to reset your bike’s clutch to the exact as new standard sizing. The Honda CRF1000L Twin Dakar Bash plate. Our all new engine protection system is designed to provide all the benefits of a lower crash bar and bash plate in one. It is constructed from 4mm & 5mm 5083 structural plate combined with 20mm heavy wall alloy tubing to form the outer profile. The FMF Powerbomb is a four stroke header pipe unit that has a unique bulge precisely located in the header system. A "pre-muffler" of sorts, the Power Bomb actually lowers sound output because it creates more surface area to absorb the sound medium (exhaust). The surface area of the perforated core lets the sound exit into the absorbing material (steel wool packing) and then allows the air to expand, cool and ramp back up with the higher pressure air. The result? The FMF Powerbomb is instrumental in reducing the decibel level on any four stroke and because of the expansion and contraction on exhaust through the system, the flow has been increased by nearly 10%. CNC machined from 2mm thick 5052 marine grade aluminum to protect your frame from scuffs and scratches and to keep those wandering pivot covers in place. These guards have a fine polished finish to give your DR a really classy look. These guards are supplied with all the necessary mounting hardware.

The dash panel is manufactured from laser cut 5/64 mild steel and powder coated black. In stock form, the forks, featuring a single spring design are under sprung for any rider over 100 pounds. With limited travel, adding a stiffer spring in the right leg only per the stock design was not a viable option.

Race Tech instead offers a Hi-Performance Spring Kit that adds a stiffer spring to the other fork. (The overall spring rate in the forks is the average spring rate between both legs.) This upgrade will make a drastic improvement in handling for most riders.

Need to remove your clutch assembly to get at that dreaded neutral safety switch? This holder is the quickest and easiest tool out there to get a grip on that hard to handle hub. Laser cut to the exact pattern that EBC makes their clutch plates from, it makes loosening and re-tightening the clutch nut easy. All of that and no worries about doing any damage to your expensive clutch hub.

Bottom line, if you have to hold your clutch hub to remove it, there is no better way to do it.

Use this installation tool from Cogent to be sure that your Cogent Drop-in Dynamic Cartridges are installed correctly. A strong magnet in the end holds the cartridge firmly while you lower it into your fork leg. Then slide the spring over the tool until it holds the DDC down, then gently remove the tool. That simple. Never again question if it is properly seated on the damper rod.

Works equally well for removal when you need to change your fork oil. Also works great with Race Tech Emulators.
