DP brakes are available in two different compounds for the DR.
The standard Sintered metal material pads provide powerful braking with industry-high HH+ friction rating that is equally adept in wet or dry conditions. They have a quick break-in period and excellent initial response. An oxide-based ceramic material on the rear of the backing plate keeps heat away from the caliper piston and fluid in extreme conditions giving a fade-free performance in even the harshest conditions.

Exhaust
Heat Shield
If your aftermarket exhaust is missing heat shield mounting points, this is the easy fix you’ve been waiting for.
Includes one stainless steel mounting bracket with M6 threaded nut, and one stainless steel hose clamp.
Fits exhaust approximately 1.1inch-2inch diameter. Trimming may be required for smaller diameter exhausts.
Headpipe
The PowerBomb header promotes better flow by allowing a small expansion of the exhaust gasses. The 'bomb' also acts as a pre-muffler taking the edge off of overall sound levels.
Optional Heat Shield Strip will protect your airbox from the close proximity of the hot head pipe.
This kit will replace both of your stock corroded or rusty header bolts with studs.
Just remove the stock bolts and thread in these studs in using a 4mm hex key up to the peened mark in the threads.
It is recommended to use anti-seize on the external threads and torque the nuts to 14 ft/lb using a 10mm 12 point socket.
Our very own high flowing head-pipe is made in the USA using a CNC (computer numerically controlled) mandrel bender for an absolute perfect fit. It is a high quality 2-piece 18 gauge stainless steel head-pipe with 1 3/4" outer diameter, compared to the stock outer diameter of 1 1/2".
The SS Pro-Flow is a tested upgrade over stock that will bolt right on with no modifications needed. It is compatible with any combination muffler/mid-pipe, as well as all motor configurations of the DR650 '96-current.
Includes a stainless steel band clamp for the mid-pipe joint, clamp-on heat shield mounts, to use with stock heat heat shield and a stainless steel flange at the exhaust port mount. We recommend a new exhaust gasket when installing your new SS Pro-Flow.
Spark Arrestor
Their baffle was designed to replace the stock insert. The baffle produces a nice note compared to the de-restricted stock version and dyno test results showed an increase on 2 hp up top.
A noise test on the insert was conducted at the EPA Victoria Vehicle Test Station at Macleod under controlled conditions with Class 1 meters.

Some extra details:
- The ADR test is conducted at an engine speed which is 50% of the engine rpm at which the engine develops maximum power. However, this engine speed is determined when the bike is in restricted form, with a throttle restrictor that stops the throttle being fully opened. This is why the ADR engine test speeds are so low. However, they are the engine speeds used to determine compliance.
- On the ADR test, the B&B tip was over the signature noise emission, but a tolerance of 5 dB(A) is allowed before prosecution would be initiated. With this tolerance, the insert would not be prosecuted as it is just 4 dB(A) over the signature.
- When tested with the standard OEM tips (as fitted when delivered from Suzuki Australia), the Suzuki came in at 95 dB(A) for the ADR test

Our Tool Tube mounts in place of the little stock tool carrier. The tube is made from 3 1/2" O.D. ABS pipe. It's held by 3 strong powder coated steel straps. Both ends are sealed with waterproof expanding plugs. This is the ideal way to carry those items you always want to have with you on every ride. Tube is approximately 13" long.
You can now order your Tool Tube with a Locking End cap, mini padlock and keys included, on the exposed end.
If you already have a Tool Tube you can order just the Locking End Cap and lock.
Does not fit if your bike is equipped with the new emissions system. The charcoal canister prevents the tool tube from being mounted properly.

This DRZ400 rear rack, hand-built by B&B Engineering in Australia is made from 4mm aluminium 5083 plate tig welded to the support tubing circumventing the plate. This material was chosen because of its extreme suitability for welding as well as abrasion and impact resistance, and all of this keeping in mind the full weight of the bike and rider. Once complete they are given a polished finish or coated with a super-durable black polymer. All Carry/Luggage Racks are supplied with the necessary stainless clamps and bolts where possible.

From our friends at JNS Engineering, a very nice mount for a set of auxiliary lights on the front of your KLR650. Laser cut from 0.190" 5052 aluminum it is CNC formed and then powdercoated black. One of the best benefits is that it will not interfere with even the largest aftermarket fuel tanks. All included mounting hardware is stainless steel.
Suspension
Shock
The Moab shock from Cogent Dynamics will change how you feel about your KLR. You may like it now, maybe even like it a lot, but you will absolutely fall in love with it once you mount up a Moab shock.
Spring duties are handled by a custom spring available in either Standard or Heavy-Duty weights. The Standard spring will be fine if you are under 250 pounds and don't ride with luggage or passengers often. Ride heavily loaded or with a passenger regularly and you will probably want the Heavy-Duty spring.
For a true comfort and performance package, we highly recommend upgrading your front suspension at the same time.
If you have '87-'07 KLR, you MUST order a new mounting bolt. Not required for 2008-2018 models.
Don't want to buy a new shock? This rebuild makes the stock shock about 10 times better. Cogent Dynamics takes a stock DR650 shock, tears it down, cleans it up, adds a hard ceramic coating, then rebuilds it with a completely new Shock Shaft Assembly with rebound damping adjustment.
Any aftermarket spring for your stock shock will fit on this shock. If you are currently using the original spring, you will want to order a stiffer spring to go with your new shock.
Our 7.5 kg/mm rear spring is 16% stiffer than the stock one and is perfect for the majority of riders. If you are a larger rider, or carry a lot of gear or a passenger (total weight exceeding 250 pounds) you will probably want the 8.3 kg/mm rear spring which is 28% stiffer than stock.
This shock includes the Bling Ring preload adjusting ring AND the Thrust Bearing! This replaces the two stock preload/lock rings. This ring is CNC machined aluminum with the additional thickness to provide superior support on the shock body.
Low shock also available. This option will lower your seat height 1" without the need for lowering links. All other features of this shock are the same as the stock height.
This option is ideal for those who desire the least amount of down time to install this suspension upgrade.

Fork Cartridge Dampers
These Cogent Drop-in Dynamic Cartridges will vastly improve both the compression and rebound damping of your stock forks. 2 high-quality bushings per set. They recommend changing bushings every 40 hours or at least once a year to get the best performance out of a set. If you are on an Adventure Bike and are doing a lot of road miles they recommend swapping out bushings once a year to ensure that you get the most vibration dampening of the bushings.
Every new set of pegs comes with a 90A bushing installed. This is a medium flex rating.
80A is the softest and 95A lock-out is the stiffest and has the least amount of flex.
The bushings act like the suspension on your bike. With bushings, there are a couple of things to think about. The more firm the bushing the more durable and longer it will last. They use a durometer, a hardness scale 0 being the softest and 100 being the hardest. They don't go below a80 because they found that durability isn't great below this but have tested as low as a60 bushings. A bigger person that rides enduro-style terrain might want an a96 or a98 rated bushing. A lighter person might want the opposite but in the end, it comes down to personal preference.
The bushings are high quality yet inexpensive (they achieve this because they use skateboard bushings that are already developed and produced in massive quantities around the world) and a wear item designed to be replaced each season or depending on how hard or often someone rides.

MotoPressor Tire Gauge comes with two chucks. A straight chuck for "easy to get at" valve stems PLUS a 45° chuck for those "not so easy to get at" valve stems.
We all know what a pain fuel Station gauges are. Most are woefully inaccurate and impossible to get onto a motorcycle valve stem. They don't go below a80 because they found that durability isn't great below this but have tested as low as a60 bushings. A bigger person that rides enduro-style terrain might want an a96 or a98 rated bushing. A lighter person might want the opposite but in the end, it comes down to personal preference.
They put an a90 bushing on all new mount setups so people can get a good feel for their mid range option. The bushings are high quality yet inexpensive (they achieve this because they use skateboard bushings that are already developed and produced in massive quantities around the world) and a wear item designed to be replaced each season or depending on how hard or often someone rides.

They designed their hardware to bend rather than break in a significant impact. A wrench or adjustable wrench will quickly and easily bend the bolt back straight. Please avoid using a hammer. A little leverage from a long-handled wrench or pipe will do the job. The whole system is rebuild-able and serviceable.
They Fit Kawasaki KLX110 and Yamaha TW200 however some of these bikes may need a little modification by yourself, Please check the size carefully before you buy. If you make mods to the footpegs for fitments it will void all warranties and return policies.

The K60 Ranger’s new tread design has dirt and big bikes in mind. While the open block design should keep the tread from loading-up in muddy conditions, the compound and carcass should keep the ride stable when you’re back on the street.
