These mounts provide a 1.0″ drop and 1.0″ shift to the rear which lowers your center of gravity and puts you in a better position of control especially when standing.

Cogent Dynamics Mojave product is a drop-in replacement for the DR650 stock shock, no modifications necessary. Mojave is not simply an improved Suzuki shock, it is a brand new replacement shock that is a totally engineered suspension solution to suit your needs.
Each shock is assembled and tested on the Cogent Dynamics suspension dyno before being packed up and shipped. Like its bigger brother the Mojave Pro Series, this will make an incredible difference in the handling of your DR.

The correct spring rate for your weight will give a smoother more controlled ride. No more bottoming out, and improved traction and confidence off-road. 8.6 & 9.6 springs require an adapter which is included.

Rider & gear up to 200 lb = 7.5 spring
Rider & gear 200-275 lb = 8.3 spring

In stock form, the forks, featuring a single spring design are under sprung for any rider over 100 pounds. With limited travel, adding a stiffer spring in the right leg only per the stock design was not a viable option.
Race Tech instead offers a High Performance Spring Kit that adds a stiffer spring to the other fork. (The overall spring rate in the forks is the average spring rate between both legs.) This upgrade will make a drastic improvement in handling for most riders.
A dual-rate fork spring for the early KLR650. These springs start with a .40 kg/mm winding and after approximately 20% of the stroke, stiffen up to .60 kg/mm for the remainder of the travel. A very nice improvement over the stock springs which are .40 kg/mm for the entire travel.
Cogent Drop-in Dynamic Cartridges will vastly improve both the compression and rebound damping of your stock forks. Designed by Rick at Cogent Dynamics on his high-tech suspension dyno, then tested and endorsed by KLR owners all over, these units have been given the seal of approval by the ProCycle staff for both performance and ease of installation. No disassembly of your forks, no drilling of damper rods. Just change the oil over to 5w and install the units under the springs and hit the trails.

The idler gear is one of the few plastic components in the DR650 that can significantly impact engine performance if it fails or breaks.
This gear is crucial for driving the oil pump, which ensures proper oil circulation throughout the engine. In the absence of this component, complete engine failure may occur. While the idler gear is not frequently cited as a common failure point in the DR650 engine, failures have been reported, typically manifesting as either a fractured gear or stripped teeth.
During inspection, it is essential to check for any cracks, chipped areas, or missing teeth on the idler gear. Replacing the gear is a straightforward procedure, and it is advisable to do so while the clutch side case cover is already removed for other maintenance tasks, such as NSU screw replacements or clutch hub bushing replacements.

The 12oclock Labs EXUP Emulator is used in place of the stock exhaust servo motor when you replace the stock exhaust with an aftermarket exhaust system. The microprocessor controlled EXUP, emulates the exact characteristics of the stock exhaust servo motor and its motor delay sweeps, keeping the ECU from displaying the dreaded check engine light. These quality sprockets are made from the finest 545C high carbon steel and are then heat treated and hand finished to meet or exceed OEM standards. Outlasts many mild steel or surface hardened sprockets as much as two and three times over.
Use this installation tool from Cogent to be sure that your Cogent Drop-in Dynamic Cartridges are installed correctly. A strong magnet in the end holds the cartridge firmly while you lower it into your fork leg. Then slide the spring over the tool until it holds the DDC down, then gently remove the tool. That simple. Never again question if it is properly seated on the damper rod.
Works equally well for removal when you need to change your fork oil. Also works great with Race Tech Emulators.
