A dual-rate fork spring for the early KLR650. These springs start with a .40 kg/mm winding and after approximately 20% of the stroke, stiffen up to .60 kg/mm for the remainder of the travel. A very nice improvement over the stock springs which are .40 kg/mm for the entire travel.

Designed by Rick at Cogent Dynamics on his high-tech suspension dyno, then tested and endorsed by KLR owners all over, these units have been given the seal of approval by the ProCycle staff for both performance and ease of installation. It's almost 5 lbs lighter and holds close to 1/2 gallon more fuel than stock to increase your range by about 20 miles. Fits with your stock petcock, Pingel or Raptor petcock.
We worked with TechSpec to have them make custom tank grip pads that look great on both Acerbis (5.3 and 6.6 gal.) and IMS tanks. These pads not only cover those ugly scuffs, but give great knee grip to the slippery plastic.

This is the more economical alternative to eliminating the 990 Adventure airbox. Better breathing equals more power. The ITG filter kit makes air filter service a snap. It also simplifies other engine and intake maintenance chores. Our kit features a steel base plate which will not deform like plastic and does not conduct heat as much as aluminum. The white powder coating also helps reflect engine heat. To take advantage of the increased airflow, we recommend upgrading your fuel injection map with TuneEcu or a Power Commander.
Is the cylinder head intake boot on your DR650 cracked or weathered, is it missing parts of the lip to seal around the carburetor, have you recently pulled the intake boot off only to realize the O-ring behind it is hard & brittle? Our complete genuine Mikuni TM40 pumper carburetor kit comes with alloy adapter rings bonded to the carburetor body for a firm reliable fit in the stock air boots. We also include new 3" longer than stock throttle cables, a remote mounted choke knob, complete instructions along with a wide range of main jets and pilot jets for fine tuning or to accommodate bikes with extensive modifications.
Most fuel injected systems are very lean in their stock configuration. This is good for economy and emissions, but not performance. This unit allows you to adjust the Fuel/Air (F/A) ratio without remapping the ECU and getting into complicated software programs. The PowerJet Fuel Controller allows you to adjust the fuel map from -4% to +10% by selecting one of 10 built-in settings (including stock).
The device works by measuring the outside air temperature very close to where the stock sensor is located and then adjusts the signal from the OEM air temperature sensor to the ECU to make use of the Air Temperature Correction factor that is built into the stock ECU. The ECU is told that the intake air is a little cooler than it actually is and it responds by richening the injection map very slightly. How much depends on your setting on the PowerJet. This will result in improved throttle response, especially if you have an aftermarket exhaust of any kind.
PowerJet is easily installed by plugging it in between the stock AIT sensor and the bike's wiring harness under the seat. This can be done very quickly as they are exactly the same plugs. Unplug the stock connection, plug in the PowerJet on each side. The PowerJet fits easily under the seat behind the battery as it is rugged and waterproof. PowerJet comes with a full one year warranty.

The DG RST (Reduced Sound Technology) muffler is the quietest DG muffler and is designed especially for dual-sport machines (Just 89db @ 3200 RPM). A new baffle design dissipates sound waves reducing noise output in a very efficient manner. This new design also stretches out the time between muffler repacks. NOTE: When swapping out the chuck, use plumbers tape on the hose thread. Wrap the thread, in a clockwise direction with 3 - 5 wraps of plumbers tape. Screw on the new chuck and tighten. Failure to follow these instructions will result in air leak!

Precision Motorcycle Racks strongly recommends these side racks be used with their Top Rack because the racks use each other to mount properly. They were never intended to be used by themselves without the rear rack.
If you are going to mount these side racks without the use of their top rack please select the extra hardware kit option that includes 2 brackets, 2 steel spacers, and an extra hardware kit that is required for proper installation.
These side racks will not play nice with any other brand rear rack, and installation without their top rack will prove to be quite difficult.
This DRZ400 rear rack, hand-built by B&B Engineering in Australia is made from 4mm aluminium 5083 plate tig welded to the support tubing circumventing the plate. This material was chosen because of its extreme suitability for welding as well as abrasion and impact resistance, and all of this keeping in mind the full weight of the bike and rider. Once complete they are given a polished finish or coated with a super-durable black polymer. All Carry/Luggage Racks are supplied with the necessary stainless clamps and bolts where possible.
These racks are smooth and sturdy enough to use as a grab handle.
