The Edge-2 Tail Light and License Plate Holder is a simple bolt-on replacement for the stock unit. Included is an aluminum mount for the light and license plate that is model specific. This devices allows any two wire after market LED turn signal indicators to operate as running lights (always on), and will blink on / off when the turn signal switch is activated. Load resistors or a fixed rate turn signal flasher will get your flashers operating at the normal flash rate again.

The quick-release base brackets mount to your forks. The adjustable shield brackets lock onto the base and with the shield system attached you can adjust it for the optimum height, angle and airflow to dial in the comfort for your particular height and riding position. They included a long 7/8" crossbar both for stability and so you can mount your smartphone or GPS unit up higher front-and-center where you can more easily see it.
If you want to go back to stock naked bike configuration simply release the locking plungers and slide the system off. Keep in mind that the crossbar, and anything you may have mounted to it, will also come off with the system.
The GPR v5 is the fifth generation steering damper designed for dirt bikes, adventure bikes but is also used on several of hybrid applications. Its compact and slim design allows for the damper to be mounted below the handlebars, out of harm's way, without raising the bars more than an inch. Frame mounts are machined steel or Cryogenic treated billet aluminum with stainless steel pin, and billet aluminum machined bar-mounts.

Counter shaft seals can wear out over time. Replace it with a genuine Yamaha counter shaft oil seal.
Also known as the pickup, trigger coil or pulser. This is a known weakness on the DR650. When it fails there is no spark, weak spark or the spark timing is thrown way off. This is a high quality replacement pulse coil. It has the correct polarity and color coded wires. Small and light enough to carry as a spare.
