Avon TrekRider

The TrekRider is Avon's first adventure tire that offers a 50/50 split of on road versus off-road performance. Designed for light to medium trails, the tire works as well in dirt and gravel as it does on asphalt. Often when selecting the best road bike tire, performance can be limited when riding on dirt, but with a full-on dirt tire, a bike's roadholding can be affected. Avon's new TrekRider has been designed to reduce some of this compromise. Finally, a specially-chosen compound mix optimises grip on both wet and dry roads, while boosting traction in the dirt.

Designed for 50% on-road and 50% off-road use, the E-07 provides optimal performance regardless of conditions. Cross-ply construction combined with a chevron tread pattern gives it great grip on both pavement and dirt, making this a very popular dual-sport tire.

The E-07 Plus was developed especially for big trail motorcycles that require the bike and tire to work together properly. With a tread pattern slightly modified from the standard E-07, this tire delivers improved performance in all conditions.

A bigger knobby design provides a plenty of open space between the tread blocks to displace sand, mud and water from the contact patch while keeping enough rubber in contact with the road on the pavement. Still a great 50/50 tire with superior durability and great adhesion on all types of terrain.

The Dakar version of each of the E-07's (yellow stripe around the tire) is constructed with thicker sidewalls for higher loads and greater puncture resistance for long adventure trips and extreme conditions.

TUbliss Insert

TUbliss Insert

TUbliss is, essentially, a high pressure rim lock and seal that secures the entire tire bead to the rim, completely eliminating the use of a conventional tube. TUbliss allows you to run a low tire pressure (as low as 10 psi) which dramatically improves traction; especially important for enduro and Baja racing. Since there's no conventional tube, the days of pinched tubes and flats are over! Even if you get a tire puncture, the bead stays seated to the rim.
The TUbliss system must be installed on the correct size rims to work - 18" x 1.85 to 2.15; 19" x 1.85 to 2.15 and 21" x 1.6. Please be sure that you have the correct size rims before ordering. If you would like to add a special TUbliss wheelset to your order, call us about special pricing.

MotoPressor Pocket Pump

MotoPressor Pocket Pump

The MotoPressor is a compact pump unit that weighs only 1.5 pounds and fits in the palm of your hand. MotoPressor very cleverly omitted the plastic housing you find on other pumps. This makes it smaller and easier to carry with you. Included is a 25 inch long inflator hose, with a hands-free lock-down delivery valve. You also get a SAE power cord that attaches to your battery and stays there. The Pocket Pump has an 8.5 foot cord to give your air supply plenty of reach. All this packs into a heavy duty neoprene pouch.

MotoPressor will pump the front or rear tire of your motorcycle from flat to approximately 30 psi in 2 minutes and is capable of pumping to over 100 psi. Use it to inflate tires, top off your air shocks, air forks, inflate air beds or anything else.

If you will use the MotoPressor on a CANbus BMW please click on the 'More Information' button.

! Do not use this pump in a standard BMW accessory outlet, unless it is wired directly to the battery and bypasses the motorcycle's electrical CANbus system. The CANbus monitors and limits the amperage of the accessory outlet. When you plug the MotoPressor into a CANbus equipped accessory outlet the CANbus will automatically shut off the circuit and the MotoPressor will stop working. It is not the fault of the Motopressor.

If you have a CANbus equipped bike and you are not SURE about using the accessory outlet, use the alligator clips to get power from your battery or better still connect the supplied SAE terminal connectors to your battery and get power from there.

Slime Tire Sealant

Slime

Slime Tube Sealant is formulated and tested for use in all tube tires. Once installed, Slime remains liquid and will not harden or dry out. Slime is guaranteed for 2 years.

As the Slime treated tube rotates, centrifugal force pushes the sealant to the tread area creating a layer of protection, repairing punctures as they occur and treating existing punctures. Slime is not intended for use in tubes losing pressure from sidewall punctures, bead leaks, damaged rims or faulty valves. Slime for tube type tires is not recommended for use in tubeless tires.

  • Prevents and repairs punctures up to1/8"
  • Remains liquid inside the tire, coating the tread area as the tire rotates
  • Non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-flammable, non-aerosol and water soluble
  • Tubes treated with Slime can be patched with a conventional vulcanized patch using a bit of patience and care
