It's twice as thick as a metal skid plate but is only half the weight. Plastic glides over rocks and roots better than aluminum. It also reflects less engine noise, bike will run quieter and cooler compared to alloy skid plate. Full coverage, mounts to existing threaded holes at the rear of the frame.
These hand-crafted bash plates from B&B Eng. are constructed from 4mm 5083 aluminium plate. Strong and lightweight, this material has been selected because of its extreme suitability for welding, abrasion and impact resistance. All the necessary stainless clamps and bolts are included. ProCycle Dashboard designed to power multiple electronic devices. It can also be used for accessory lights, heated grips or gear, whatever you like. You can also use the two pre-drilled holes to attach a RAM mount and place your phone or GPS unit on that while charging.

Included in this kit are fork springs, Cogent DDC (Drop in Damper Cartridge) performance cartridges and three bottles of 5w fork oil. Refresh those tired old forks and make them better than new. These DDCs from Cogent are easy to install. No taking the forks apart, no drilling of the damping rods, nothing. Just take them off, flip them over to drain the oil, add new 5w oil, drop in the DDCs and then add the springs and spacers and then install the caps. Preload spacer material is included with the .47 and .70 springs, additional spacers are not needed with the other kits.
This upgrade offers better control off-road as well as on. Less brake dive keeps the fork up in the middle of the stroke on-road and better control off-road whether it be rolling water bars or bouncing off the rocks.

These Cogent Drop-in Dynamic Cartridges will vastly improve both the compression and rebound damping of your stock forks. These units have been given the seal of approval by the ProCycle staff for both performance and ease of installation. No disassembly of your forks, no drilling of damper rods. Just change the oil over to 5w and install the DDCs under the springs and hit the trails.
DDC Tool will not work with this spring series
Damping Rod style forks are notorious for being too harsh, too mushy and too easy to bottom. Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators remedy this problem by controlling the compression damping with a tuneable valve. The Emulator sits on top of the damping rod and is held in place by the main spring.
Simply put; Emulators make damping rod forks perform like well-tuned cartridge forks. Installation and tuning for any condition or rider preference is very straight-forward.
Simple to install and completely tunable for all conditions and rider preferences.
*Comes with RaceTech adapter to properly seat the Gold Valve cartridge into to the top of the damper rod.
Shock
The Moab shock from Cogent Dynamics will change how you feel about your KLR. You may like it now, maybe even like it a lot, but you will absolutely fall in love with it once you mount up a Moab shock.
Spring duties are handled by a custom spring available in either Standard or Heavy-Duty weights. The Standard spring will be fine if you are under 250 pounds and don't ride with luggage or passengers often. Ride heavily loaded or with a passenger regularly and you will probably want the Heavy-Duty spring.
For a true comfort and performance package, we highly recommend upgrading your front suspension at the same time.
If you have '87-'07 KLR, you MUST order a new mounting bolt. Not required for 2008-2018 models.

The cush hub (sprocket carrier) bearing leads a tough life. This is especially true if your cush rubbers get old and soft. They can allow the chain to pull the cush hub sideways putting a twisting load on the bearing. These cables roll up into a compact coil with an included hook-and-loop strap for easy storage. Both of these cables weigh under 6 ounces. A bright orange vinyl cable sheath not only protects the bike's finish from scratches, but it also provides high-visibility that, according to Giant Loop, is for "discouraging the opportunistic grab-and-dash thief to move on to an easier target."
