Here is a tool to help you remove a few links from a chain that is too long. A great tool to have in your tool box.

The head of the pivot pin you are going to remove must be ground down level with the side plate before using this tool to push it out. Failure to do that will cause damage to the tool that is not covered by any warranty!

ThreeBond 1342 low strength thread locking compound. This is the ideal retaining compound for small nuts and bolts. Fasteners are held securely but, can be easily removed when necessary. ThreeBond gives this a number 4 rating for exposure to engine oil making it a good choice for internal fasteners as well as external fasteners. 10ml bottle.

ADV Sushi is a webbing reinforced velcro strap with integrated daisy loops. These are as handy as zip ties and duct tape. This is one of those products that you will use frequently if you have them with you.
