The black kit uses 27/21 mm tubing while the Stainless uses straight 22 mm tubing throughout.

Three secure mounting points per side provide the necessary support that make these so strong. There is no drilling, cutting, welding or any other modifications required for mounting but still allows access to the oil filler, tool box and battery. Kit includes all necessary hardware and instructions and an aluminum cover to replace the OEM plastic cover at the lower mounting point on the left side.

Low peg mounts for the DR From Wirtz Wire. These are different than our other mounts for several reasons. First, these are designed around the stock pegs. All of the pegs in this section will fit these mounts. Another difference is that these mounts are offered in a low mount as well as a low and rearward mount. These are 'wire EDM' machined from solid 1018 steel bar stock, and are not welded anywhere. They are powder coated black for a great look. Both mounts move the pegs down 2" while the low and rear mounts also move the pegs back 1.3".
Kit comes with new mounts, longer bolts and a longer brake switch spring that will be needed. Pegs are optional, your stock pegs will work.
The upper image shows the low and rearward mounts while the one below that is of the just low mounts. If you look at the two images below that, you will see that these are the low and rearward pegs for both sides of the bike.
A very popular modification. Eliminates the weaker 2 bolt setup in favor of one bolt all the way through for the upper subframe attach point. No more worry about keeping the bolts tight, or the original bolts breaking. If you have the SW Motech or Tusk crash guards you want this kit for sure.
This universal will give you both upper bolts, the upper spacer for the standard kit, and both lengths of lower bolts in case you have bars that use that point to attach.
Chain guides are subject to wear over time due to friction produced by chain movement. To restore optimal performance, replace them with this authentic Yamaha component.

This auxiliary light harness is specifically built for the DR650 using the highest quality materials and components. Wire lengths, component locations, and end terminals are all predetermined and assembled for you. No electrical expertise needed! The relay is wired directly to the battery and Posi-Tap connectors are used to tap in to the existing headlight high beam circuit.
This eliminates the need for a separate switch to operate your auxiliary lights. When your high beam is on, your auxiliary lights will be too. If choosing the DRL version, DRLs will be on with the key. By choosing a switch you can disable the main auxiliary lights leaving only the DRL ring on during the daylight. Then at night, flip the switch and have full control of your main auxiliary lights activating in conjunction with your bikes high and low beam, this works very well with the ON with high beam OFF in low beam, No switch option.

Comes standard with the CNC machined Bling Ring Preload Adjuster Collar and a thrust bearing between the adjuster ring and the spring making preload adjustments easy.

Select the spring you want installed based on the load you plan to carry. *Spring color may vary due to specification requirement and availability.
For riders (and gear) less than 250 pounds we recommend the 7.6 kg/mm spring.
If you regularly have more than 250 pounds on the bike, you might want to use the 8.15 kg/mm spring.
Low shock also available. This option will lower your seat height 1" without the need for lowering links. All other features of this shock are the same as the stock height.

OEM spring rates are 7.7kg on early models and 8.2kg on later models. We offer stiffer spring rates from 5% to 25% for riders who wish to carry luggage or just prefer stiffer suspension.

Have you already ditched the bulky tail light on your XR? Don't want to bend your license plate and wrap it around your rear fender? Here is a great solution to clean up the looks of the backside of your XR650L. The idler gear is one of the few plastic components in the DR650 that can significantly impact engine performance if it fails or breaks.
This gear is crucial for driving the oil pump, which ensures proper oil circulation throughout the engine. In the absence of this component, complete engine failure may occur. While the idler gear is not frequently cited as a common failure point in the DR650 engine, failures have been reported, typically manifesting as either a fractured gear or stripped teeth.
During inspection, it is essential to check for any cracks, chipped areas, or missing teeth on the idler gear. Replacing the gear is a straightforward procedure, and it is advisable to do so while the clutch side case cover is already removed for other maintenance tasks, such as NSU screw replacements or clutch hub bushing replacements.

Seat Concepts seats are constructed using a foam material that is a much higher quality than OEM seat foam. Their proprietary formula provides a more plush and active ride, while still offering the necessary amount of support. Their unique comfort shape maintains a similar contour to stock at the front of the seat so the rider’s legs are not spread farther apart, but tapers out towards the mid-point to distribute rider weight over a greater area.
On this model, they built up the front of the seat, but dished out the rear slightly to level out the angle of the rider platform, and reduce the slope-into-tank feeling of the stock seat.
