Precision Motorcycle Racks strongly recommends these side racks be used with their Top Rack because the racks use each other to mount properly. They were never intended to be used by themselves without the rear rack.
If you are going to mount these side racks without the use of their top rack please select the extra hardware kit option that includes 2 brackets, 2 steel spacers, and an extra hardware kit that is required for proper installation.
These side racks will not play nice with any other brand rear rack, and installation without their top rack will prove to be quite difficult.

This gasket seals the joint between the head pipe and Exhaust port. These gaskets are designed to crush a little bit to tightly seal where the pipe fits to the head. Get a fresh set now avoid having an exhaust leak when you install your new exhaust. This is for a set of two gaskets.

FMF mufflers do not require a joint gasket but the all other aftermarket mufflers as well as the stock muffler require a joint gasket. It is a good practice to replace your sealing washer with every oil change. These 10 piece kits are made up of 5 Copper washers and 5 Aluminum washers. The manufacturer recently decided to make half of the kit Copper washers as that is the material of choice for many OEM manufactures. This gives you the opportunity to decide which you prefer, but either will work great at creating a leak-free seal between the case and the drain plug.

This kit will give you 80mm of adjustment over the stock screen.
In the raised position, the difference in ride comfort is remarkable. Wind noise reduction is very noticeable and airflow underneath your screen reduced the vacuum effect, creating smoother airflow and reducing turbulence.
In the lowered position, the screen sits at the same height as stock.
To adjust the screen, loosen the thumb nuts, slide into position and re-tighten the thumb nuts, no tools required.

With the shield separated from the front of the bike you can pull lots of air underneath it which is critical for smooth comfortable wind protection.
