Don't want to buy a new shock? This rebuild makes the stock shock about 10 times better. Cogent Dynamics takes a stock DR650 shock, tears it down, cleans it up, adds a hard ceramic coating, then rebuilds it with a completely new Shock Shaft Assembly with rebound damping adjustment.

Any aftermarket spring for your stock shock will fit on this shock. If you are currently using the original spring, you will want to order a stiffer spring to go with your new shock. 

Our 7.5 kg/mm rear spring is 16% stiffer than the stock one and is perfect for the majority of riders. If you are a larger rider, or carry a lot of gear or a passenger (total weight exceeding 250 pounds) you will probably want the 8.3 kg/mm rear spring which is 28% stiffer than stock.

This shock includes the Bling Ring preload adjusting ring AND the Thrust Bearing! This replaces the two stock preload/lock rings. This ring is CNC machined aluminum with the additional thickness to provide superior support on the shock body.

Low shock also available. This option will lower your seat height 1" without the need for lowering links. All other features of this shock are the same as the stock height.

This custom Cogent valve stack makes this shock behave much like the Cogent Shock Shaft without the rebound adjustment capability.  Providing a greatly improved suspension feel over stock at an affordable price.

Heavy duty shock bumper. The stock bumper is prone to disintegrating with age. If you are re-valving your shock it's a good idea to be sure the bumper is in good shape.

8.6 & 9.6 springs require an adapter which is included.

Designed and built for Dual-Sport and Adventure bikes, the Nitron Adventure Series R1, R2 and R3 shocks offer exceptional road and trail performance. Using billet aluminum components, a large heavy-duty 16mm piston rod and a high-flow capacity 46mm piston, this shock flows much more oil for a more consistent, fade-free performance than most other shocks.

Nitron shocks are custom built for your specific weight, if you have a passenger or luggage add that weight as well. Lastly your riding conditions; do you ride mainly paved roads, dirt roads, trails? Cogent Dynamics Mojave product is a drop-in replacement for the DR650 stock shock, no modifications necessary. Mojave is not simply an improved Suzuki shock, it is a brand new replacement shock that is a totally engineered suspension solution to suit your needs.

Each shock is assembled and tested on the Cogent Dynamics suspension dyno before being packed up and shipped. Like its bigger brother the Mojave Pro Series, this will make an incredible difference in the handling of your DR.

Mojave Improvements over stock
Mojave upper mount: uses a precision spherical bearing with dust seals, which accurately transfers damping forces to the motorcycle frame.

Internal improvements: Cogent designed shaft, seal head, damper piston, adjuster and clevis.
Mono tube construction: precision honed, super-stiff steel body with an upper body cap machined from billet aluminum.
Built-in billet aluminum separator piston provides an in-line gas pressure reservoir which eliminates the Suzuki rubber bladder.

This shock package includes the CNC machined Bling Ring Preload Adjuster Collar and Preload Bearing that will make preload adjustments easy.

The Pro-Series’ sophisticated reservoir with interchangeable valves and shims, provides more tune-ability at all speeds. It also improves internal pressure balance and temperature dissipation, giving long lasting performance regardless of the punishment you put it through.

Comes standard with the CNC machined Bling Ring Preload Adjuster Collar and a thrust bearing between the adjuster ring and the spring making preload adjustments easy.

The added needle bearing thrust washer will make preload adjustments much easier. The ring then spins much easier against the spring making adjustments quite a bit easier.

This part can easily be added to the Cogent or Race Tech Shock Shaft Assemblies, even after they are built.

To install the Bling Ring on a shock with a stock shaft it must either be disassembled or have the lower clevis removed.

This Kit replaces vital components in the BST40 Carburetor including new o-rings, gaskets, jets, needle, mixture screw, float bowl screws, float valve needle and seat (needle jet and other pressed in jets are not included in kit) to return the stock Mikuni BST40 Carburetor to like-new operation. Stock size rear brake rotor laser-cut from high-carbon content 410 stainless steel, then lap cross hatched and heat-treated. Each one then has a high-temp paint applied to surfaces like cooling holes and edges for a clean finished look.

Includes a fresh set of brake rotor bolts.

Rotors are laser-cut from high-carbon content 410 stainless steel then lap cross hatch ground and heat-treated. The finished rotors are mounted on a floating black steel carrier for durability and strength.

The oversize floating pins are CNC machined stainless steel rivets with stainless wave washers to ensure they will not crush as more traditional steel pressed rivets can. Finally, high-temp paint is applied to surfaces like cooling holes and edges to provide a clean, finished look.

Increase your fuel and/or water carrying capacity. This mounting plate attaches to the OEM Suzuki rear rack and accepts the standard RotoPax mounting pedestal. The use of pressed-in threaded mounting hardware allows for quick and easy installation of the plate and pedestal. When not needed the RotoPax pedestal can be quickly removed and the tidy JNS mounting plate left in place.
