The Cogent Dynamics kit is a simple and effective way to improve the damping for your Africa Twin forks. The AT-1 kit includes two new replacement fork base valves to completely revalve your forks in a straightforward pre-assembled kit. This kit is the adventure proven and suspension dynamometer tested kit for your CRF1000L front suspension. It uses new CNC aluminum damping pistons, valve stacks and check systems which come to you pre-assembled onto a base valve adjuster housing. This means you won't need a micrometer and valve shim experience to achieve the results you need. The Africa Twin 45mm upside-down fork uses sealed top cartridges.
This unique arrangement allows Africa Twin owners to do a simple disassembly of the fork, removing the cartridge and replacing the stock base valve assembly. Your stock valving assembly can be retained while the new AT-1 kit improves your suspension performance.
We suggest installation of stiffer fork springs along with the Revalve Kit.

The GPR v5 is the fifth generation steering damper. Its compact and slim design allows for the damper to be mounted below the handlebars, out of harm's way, without raising the bars more than an inch.
V5-D Fat Bar kit – A Sub mount kit, mounts below the handlebars. Uses the low-profile GPR V5d dirt bike stabilizer in a cradle-style handlebar mount and bolts to the stock triple clamp. Will raise bar height about 1".

ProTaper's ADV handlebars give you a bar taller than most with extra space on the control portion of the bar. The Dynojet Auto Tune kit is an "add on" accessory that can be used with any of our Power Commander V’s. It connects to the PCV with a single cable and requires only a ground and +12 volt connection to be made to install. If your exhaust does not already have one, a "weld in" O2 sensor bung is included.
Once installed, the Auto Tune kit monitors the fuel mixture (by installing the included Wide Band O2 sensor in the exhaust). It then sends this information to the Power Commander V and automatically corrects it while you ride. Each map that we offer has preset Air/Fuel ratio values included that we find to be the best overall settings. This lets you simply plug in the unit and let it do the work.
The perfect complement to our Power Commander V or AutoTune modules, the POD-300 gives you an accurate real-time reading of your vehicle’s vital fuel, engine and air information.
Featuring a robust array of options, you can toggle the display, so the data most important to you is front-and-center. The POD-300 can log channels to internal memory, then access them when you’re done riding through our Power Core software (only available for Windows computers). This display module connects to your Power Commander V/6 or Wideband 2 device network through a CAN cable (included).
The POD-300 is weather-resistant, so it can be used in any environment. The high-contrast display is easily viewable in direct sunlight. It includes a velcro backing for easy installation and removal, or you can purchase a handlebar mount separately.
Please note that the POD-300 is a display module only, which is used in conjunction with Power Commander V, Power Commander 6, AutoTune or Wideband 2.

Removing the device reverts your vehicle completely back to stock. All PC6 models have an end-user adjustment of +/-15 in the FUEL table and +/- 8 in the timing table (if applicable). This adjustment is on top of the values that are in the BASE map loaded to the device. This BASE map can be any of the available maps from the Dynojet website, or those you may have received from a third party.

It is constructed from 4mm & 5mm 5083 structural plate combined with 20mm heavy wall alloy tubing to form the outer profile. It is mounted in seven locations to make it the most rigid bash plate on the market. It has a narrower profile and fewer snag points than the conventional crash bars. The Givi skid plate, manufactured from 5mm aluminum, is lightweight and offers excellent protection for vulnerable engine components, whether you have a standard or DCT transmission. All necessary hardware and instructions are included. Compatible with stock sidestand and centerstand.
Provide absolute protection for your AT by including Givi Crash Bars, available in either Black powdercoating or Stainless Steel.
This skid plate is extremely strong, manufactured from a 5 mm aluminum bottom with 4 mm thick side walls, offering complete protection of the engine block. This unit is built with precision-manufactured mounts that fit directly into the existing frame mount, creating a robust connection that distributes the forces not only to the mounting points but also to the bikes steel frame in case of ground contact. 8 mm strong rubber sliders also help to absorb and distribute impact forces. This unit completely replaces the wimpy stock plate constructed from just 2.5 mm material.
In addition to providing better protection and a sliding surface for impacts, this guard also offers better header and exhaust protection. Cutouts for both oil drain screws mean you don't have to remove it for changes. This plate is also compatible with Honda side stand as well as the SW-Motech Centerstand.
Provide absolute protection for your AT by including Crash Bars and the Skid Plate Extension, all made by the folks at SW Motech.
This unit is NOT compatible if with the optional shift lever on the DCT version.
The Safari Bash Plate is a bit bigger and more protective than the Big Tour model. Made from the same 5mm 5083 plate, this plate extends further up the front and around the sides of the motor. There is a specific DCT model that wraps up even further to help protect the important parts on the right side. (See last image.)
Fits with the OEM centerstand, but will NOT work with lower engine crash bars. Will work with Upper Crash Bars from SW-MOTECH, Hepco and Becker and OEM Honda units. The Big Tour Bashplate from B&B Off Road Engineering is built from 5mm 5083 aluminum plate providing protection from rocks and sticks and other debris. This plate will work with the OEM centerstand and most crashbars.
If you are headed out for miles of back roads and trails, please consider the more protective Safari model. All B&B bash plates are quality built and supplied with all necessary hardware and detailed instructions. Foam or rubber is included wherever it is required.
Do you have the SW Motech Centerstand and Skid Plate mounted to your Africa Twin? If so, it is a great idea to mount up the Skid Plate Extension. This plate adds protection to the undercarriage where the engine guard ends, giving you a more complete protection system. 3mm thick aluminum plate mounts to tabs that are built into the Centerstand. The Centerstand and the CS Extension function seamlessly together. These two pieces assure that you are completely protected down under. Kit includes Centerstand, hardware and detailed instructions.
Please Note that this Skid Plate Extension is only compatible with the SW Motech Skid Plate and the SW Motech Centerstand.
This is the ultimate in radiator guards! It will protect your fragile radiator from nasty front & side impacts.
This ultra tough guard is constructed from 1/8" aluminum and is easy to install.
All Flatland Racing radiator guards have rear mounting brackets for that extra support! All Mounting hardware is included.
B&B Off Road Engineering Radiator Guards are much stronger than the plastic OEM guards. Made from extruded aluminum and then CNC machined, these guards us a louver design like those of a modern motocross machine which provides maximum protection while allowing maximum airflow through the radiator for excellent cooling.
With the mounting system for these guards, they are easily and quickly removed if you need to get in for a good cleaning. Remove four easily accessible bolts and the guards are out of the way.
WILL NOT FIT WITH SW-MOTECH UPPER TANK BARS! Modifications will be needed to fit with the crossbar of the crash bar that runs in front of the radiator.
Givi makes a great set of Crash Bars available for the Africa Twin. If your intentions include off-road riding of any kind, you really should not go without protection. Not only for you, but for your bike too. Even a slow-speed tip-over can cause damage that would make riding away impossible.
For the upper set, you just need to select the matching color to the lowers you have ordered. Install them all at once, or the lowers alone for a while, then the uppers. You cannot order the uppers without the lowers though as they will no mount correctly. The upper crash bars protect important radiators and bodywork. Essential in the event of any kind of crash. These also make excellent mounts for auxiliary lights for added visibility.
Included with each piece you receive a complete set of instructions and all mounting hardware required, in typical Givi fashion.
NOTE: The upper units REQUIRE the lower crash guards for proper mounting and are not a stand alone item!

Like most machines, the OEM pegs on the Africa Twin are for the birds. They are small and provide a minimalist platform to control the motorcycle and they are uncomfortable if you stand on them for very long. You can install new, larger pegs or you can bolt on these beautiful aluminum extenders on top of the stock units. You can see the stock peg inside the topper in the upper image.
If you stand for very long these pegs will pay for themselves quickly. CNC machined with slightly rounded edges on the teeth so they won't eat up the soles of your boots, then anodized black, these are pretty and functional. 2.32" x 3.38" is nearly double the contact area of the stock pegs. Mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included, making installation a snap.

The GBrakes steel braided brake lines for the big Twin CRF1000L replace the stock rubber lines to enhance braking performance. Stock rubber lines expand under pressure giving a spongy and inconsistent feel at the lever/pedal.

Made 'down unda' by B&B Off Road Engineering in Australia, these racks are CNC machined from 5mm 5083 aluminum plate with lots of slots around the edge to attach your RokStraps or other tie-down devices. The plate attaches directly to the CRF rear frame with four screws that are included.
There are four options for this plate, two sizes (Mini and Maxi) and two colors each (Polished and Black Polymer coating). The Maxi Plate is 18" wide at the seat, 13" long and 8.5" wide at back. The Mini Plate is 12 3/4" wide at the seat, 11" long and 9 1/4" wide at the back.
The Big Tour Extension optional add on below is a forward extension for the Luggage Plates shown above. CNC machined from the same 5mm 5083 aluminium plate, this covers the rear portion of your seat and turns that area into a solid platform for packing more stuff for your RTW adventure.

The SignalMinder unit is designed as a plug-in accessory for many Japanese bikes. SignalMinder uses a microprocessor to cancel the turn signals at one of three selectable time outs; 10, 20 or 30 seconds.

The Öhlins Africa Twin shock has knob adjustable rebound and compression damping on a 46mm machined aluminum body combined with a hydraulic remote preload adjuster with a hose mounted actuator and mounting bracket. The gas reservoir uses a much higher quality compression adjuster/head valve along with a solid separator piston to prevent gas bleed-over. The improved adjuster circuits provide a wider range of adjustability.
Solo riders with light loads should select the 9.7 spring. 2-up riders or heavier loads select the 10.7 spring.

The Akrapovic double-flow muffler is made of a Titanium outer shell with a Stainless Steel end cap. The joint on the inlet cap is CNC milled and connected to the inlet pipe with silicon-shielded tempered springs. A lightweight, compact and high-temperature-resistant carbon fiber clamp supports the muffler to the frame.
This muffler is 3 pounds lighter than stock and will give you an increase in power across the powerband.
The plug-and-play exhaust is simple to install without any need for remapping and comes with full instructions.
Ride once with a set of TechSpec Tank Grip Pads and you won't want to ride without them again. Measuring just .125" thin, you'll feel the difference the minute you throw your leg over and take a seat. The pads improve the relationship between you and your machine! Yep, now you can squeeze it, grip it and rip it!
This precut kit includes right and left grips along with a custom center tank piece that can give you additional grip as well as padded protection. Also reduces abrassion damage to the center area of the tank.
