Precision Motorcycle Racks strongly recommends these side racks be used with their Top Rack because the racks use each other to mount properly. They were never intended to be used by themselves without the rear rack. 
If you are going to mount these side racks without the use of their top rack please select the extra hardware kit option that includes 2 brackets, 2 steel spacers, and an extra hardware kit that is required for proper installation.

These side racks will not play nice with any other brand rear rack, and installation without their top rack will prove to be quite difficult.

Weighs just 2 pounds for a full 11" x 11" storage area. Fully welded construction from 16 gauge mild steel tubing then powder-coated black textured finish. Rack has a rigid 4 point mounting system. Has tabs to allow mounting the stock tool bag. All hardware and detailed instructions included.

The Nomadic Rack is a favorite for dual-sport riders with ruggedness and ease of installation. This rack does not need to be removed for under-seat maintenance. The Moab shock from Cogent Dynamics will change how you feel about your GEN 3 KLR650. You may like it now, maybe even like it a lot, but you will absolutely fall in love with it once you mount up a Moab shock.

Spring duties are handled by a custom spring available in either Standard or Heavy-Duty weights. The Standard spring will be fine if you are under 250 pounds and don't ride with luggage or passengers often. Ride heavily loaded or with a passenger regularly and you will probably want the Heavy-Duty spring.

There is very limited manual preload adjustment access on the Gen 3 KLR650 without removing the shock. Therefore, the addition of the Remote Preload adjuster gives you the convenience of optimizing your rear suspension spring preload for quick leveling (load compensation) of your bike to accommodate a passenger, luggage or just to change ride characteristics based on your preferences.  The adjustment which would normally require reaching the shock in your bike to turn a threaded collar using a tool can be easily adjusted by twisting a remote knob which uses the convenience of hydraulics to change the spring preload up to 100% (9 mm total range of preload change).

There is a mounting conflict for the Remote Preload adjuster with the Happy Trails and T-REX crash bars.

The touring windshield from Parabellum has been designed, developed and tested using all the knowledge and experience of the KLR riders in their own shop. Using the stock mounting points as well as the cowling mounts increases the rigidity of the shield.

The Speedo DRD corrects and fixes the speed signal after it was altered by something else, such as sprocket changes or tires size changes or transmission changes.

Measuring just .125" thin, you'll feel the difference the minute you throw your leg over and take a seat. The pads improve the relationship between you and your machine! This precut kit includes right and left grips along with a custom center tank piece that can give you additional grip as well as padded protection. Also reduces abrassion damage to the center area of the tank.

We worked with TechSpec to have them make custom tank grip pads that look great on both Acerbis (5.3 and 6.6 gal.) and IMS tanks. These pads not only cover those ugly scuffs, but give great knee grip to the slippery plastic.

These have been tested on two of our shop bikes for over 3 years, they did not bubble or peel off in any way.

6.6 gallons just not enough? Here is your answer, the 10 gallon tank from IMS. This tank is so large that they installed an internal lift pump to use the full capacity of the tank while maintaining a lower center of gravity than the OEM tank.
