Precision tolerances – The tightest in the industry. Ultra-lightweight, for reduced unsprung mass. Straight rate springs will give better control in the rough stuff. Sold in pairs.
- The .85 springs are 30% stiffer than stock DL650 springs and 21% stiffer than DL1000 springs, a great choice for most riders.
- The 1.0 springs are 50% stiffer than stock DL650 springs and 42% stiffer than DL1000 springs, a better choice for heavier or aggressive riders, heavy loads, 2-up riding, etc.
- Stock spring rates for comparison: DL650-.65 DL1000-.70
Progressive springs offer a soft initial spring rate for a plush ride. Progressively wound design provides increased resistance to bottoming as spring compresses. These springs are significantly stiffer than the wimpy stock springs.
They will make a big improvement in the front forks while still delivering a smooth ride. Sold in pairs.
- Race Tech's original bolt-on fork valving system for front cartridge forks
- Triple the flow area of stock pistons
- Put valving control on the shim stack
- Outstanding tunability, improved control, traction, plushness and bottoming resistance
- Complete instructions, Gold Valve pistons, valving charts, valving shims
Seal profile is engineered to create equal pressure in each seal lip; equalized seal pressure creates less drag and longer seal life.
Patented MAX-LIFE has a coefficient of friction up to 3 times less than the OEM seal material
Triple-lip seal design
Dyno-tested to last 3 to 4 times longer than OEM seals
Directional ribs allow seal to be installed easily
Kits include fork seals and dust wipers
- Lighter and stiffer than stock, these high quality straight rate springs are made specifically for the DL line.
- A proper rear spring will give a smoother more controlled ride.
- Available in a multitude of spring rates, one is the perfect fit for your bike and riding style.
- Stock spring is rated at 8.2 kg/mm for the DL650, and DL1000
Adapters are required for this spring
The V-Strom suffers from poor compression damping and limp rebound damping. The Race Tech Gold Valve allows you to tune both compression and rebound valving for vastly improved performance.
- Bolt-on shock valving for riders serious about suspension performance
- Improves control, traction, plushness and bottoming resistance
- Improved, long-wearing, low-friction sealing design decreases fade
- Includes complete instructions
Based on the wildly popular Race Tech Suspension Seminars taught by Paul Thede around the world, this step-by-step guide shows riders how to make their bikes handle like the pros. Thede gives the lowdown on all types of suspension, including cartridge and non-cartridge forks as well as dual-chamber and nitrogen-charged shocks.
The three forces of suspension, testing procedures, even the black arts of chassis geometry: This explains it all. The book provides step-by-step photos of suspension disassembly and assembly as well as a detailed troubleshooting guide for dirt, street and track.
The features of this tool include 300 psi capacity, bleeder valve and T-handle plunger pin chuck. Swivel chuck has a 12" flexible hose. Comes complete with instructions, carrying box and Schrader valve extension (required on some Showa shocks). Nitrogen bottles available at any welding supply house.
