Corbin has replaced the stock two-piece seat with a single seat model to provide more structural support. Corbin has created two models, one to maintain the stock seat height, and one to provide an easier ground reach like the stock seat in a lower position. By designing each seat specifically, they were able to keep excellent ergonomics. Corbin's saddles are designed to work with the optional Honda saddlebags. Mounts to the motorcycle similar to stock and secures with the Honda key lock system. All brackets are included and pre-mounted on the seat so it's ready for immediate installation.

Passenger seating area is designed with a neutralized platform to resist sliding forward in the saddle. Dished shaping provides an excellent contact patch and maintaining a clean look. For the best combination of looks and support, add the Ovalbac backrest as shown. This backrest provides a generous, contact patch for excellent support. If you are adapting a GSXR or Hayabusa muffler to your DR650 you will need a fresh gasket that seals between the muffler and the mid-pipe adapter. There are two sizes depending on which OEM muffler you are using. The 4-bolt mufflers use the 2-1/2" OD seal ring. The 3-bolt mufflers use the 2-3/4" OD seal ring.

This gasket seals the joint between the head pipe and Exhaust port. These gaskets are designed to crush a little bit to tightly seal where the pipe fits to the head. Get a fresh one now avoid having an exhaust leak when you install your new exhaust.

Their baffle was designed to replace the stock insert. The baffle produces a nice note compared to the de-restricted stock version and dyno test results showed an increase on 2 hp up top.

A noise test on the insert was conducted at the EPA Victoria Vehicle Test Station at Macleod under controlled conditions with Class 1 meters.

Some extra details:

1. The ADR test is conducted at an engine speed which is 50% of the engine rpm at which the engine develops maximum power. However, this engine speed is determined when the bike is in restricted form, with a throttle restrictor that stops the throttle being fully opened. This is why the ADR engine test speeds are so low. However, they are the engine speeds used to determine compliance.
2. On the ADR test, the B&B tip was over the signature noise emission, but a tolerance of 5 dB(A) is allowed before prosecution would be initiated. With this tolerance, the insert would not be prosecuted as it is just 4 dB(A) over the signature.
3. When tested with the standard OEM tips (as fitted when delivered from Suzuki Australia), the Suzuki came in at 95 dB(A) for the ADR test

The DR650 has two unused 'switched' power plugs. One behind the headlight and another under the seat. This plug & pigtail assembly allows you to easily access a 12v power supply that is only on when your key switch is on.

Use it to power a GPS, charge a cell phone, run heated grips or even power a relay. Plug has leads approximately 1 foot long and a 7.5 amp miniature blade fuse.

A complete kit to mount your phone (or other electronic device) to your motorcycle. The universal cradle expands from 2.25" to 3.25" wide and 4.75" to 6.25" tall. The width is adjustable but fixed while the upper portion of the cradle is spring loaded to keep your device secured in the roughest conditions.

Select the mount option that works best for you. The mirror mount is shown in the photo at left and is a flat plate with an 11mm hole on one side and a RAM ball on the other. Simply remove your mirror, place the plate between your mirror and the perch and tighten it down.

The handlebar mount kit allows you to mount to either a 7/8" or 1-1/8" bar. Also includes hardware to mount to the back of a lever perch. See image at bottom middle for kit pieces.

It seems that while packing for every adventure … we always end up with a few items that were either neglected to be packed, were last minute gear additions, or just needed to be packed in a readily accessible location…. The OBR Adv Gear Tool Pouch is the perfect solution for these miscellaneous items. Once packed the tool pouch can be slipped into any bag or attached externally using integrated webbing loops that are built into the pouch.
