The Edge-2 Tail Light and License Plate Holder is a simple bolt-on replacement for the stock unit. Included is an aluminum mount for the light and license plate that is model specific. The light unit uses 16 high-intensity red LED's for tail / stop light function. 3 white LED's are used for license plate illumination.
Included is a set of turn signal brackets that bolt to the mount. These are designed for a smaller LED type signal with a 8mm mounting stud. Or consider the Edge-2 Upgrade Circuit Board as this converts your brake light into a functioning turn signal as well!

Turn Signal
You may have noticed after adding aftermarket turn signals (especially LED units) that your blink rate has significantly increased. OEM flashers are designed for standard bulbs which draw a few watts each, much more than typical aftermarket bulbs or LED signals. This device is an effective alternative to using load resistors because it consumes considerably less watts, consumes less space, and does not generate excessive heat.
The plug is exactly the same as the OEM unit making swap outs a cinch. No wiring changes, cutting and adding connectors. Just plug it in and you will have a steady flash at the DOT OEM rate regardless of what signal bulbs you use. It is an all solid state design and will blink correctly with loads all the way down to 0.1W / 0.01A.

Once installed, the Auto Tune kit monitors the fuel mixture (by installing the included Wide Band O2 sensor in the exhaust). It then sends this information to the Power Commander V and automatically corrects it while you ride. A HIGH output performance stator that replaces the OEM stator in the Honda XR400R and XR650R models.
ElectroSport designed this to have two sets of output windings: one is floated from ground and has two output leads, and the other is grounded on one side. Both windings also have different winding configurations to ensure optimum output.
Built on a modern stator core made of highly magnetically conductive material. They install the highest grade copper wire using their state-of-the-art computer controlled winding machines and they connect high quality lead wires that are both abrasion and heat resistant.

ThreeBond 1342 low strength thread locking compound. This is the ideal retaining compound for small nuts and bolts. Fasteners are held securely but, can be easily removed when necessary. The Phillips type screws used in Japanese motorcycles are actually Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) screws are very easy to strip if you are using a regular Phillips screwdriver.
This is a high quality Motion Pro T-handle driver with #1, #2, and #3 JIS bits made from S2 tool steel. There is bit in each end of the driver held in place magnetically. These are 1/4" hex drive heads so you can use all common driver bits as well. The narrow drive head profile easily fits into tight locations. Main shaft is 8.5" long and is chrome plated for protection.

Savvy DR650 owners will remove the upper chain roller. You can use this stainless steel button head screw to plug the threaded hole. Suzuki did not make the upper roller mount strong enough. If you don't remove it yourself the chain will likely do it for you - along with a chunk of metal out of the frame.

Low peg mounts for the DR From Wirtz Wire. These are different than our other mounts for several reasons. First, these are designed around the stock pegs. All of the pegs in this section will fit these mounts. Another difference is that these mounts are offered in a low mount as well as a low and rearward mount. These are 'wire EDM' machined from solid 1018 steel bar stock, and are not welded anywhere. They are powder coated black for a great look. Both mounts move the pegs down 2" while the low and rear mounts also move the pegs back 1.3".
Kit comes with new mounts, longer bolts and a longer brake switch spring that will be needed. Pegs are optional, your stock pegs will work.
The upper image shows the low and rearward mounts while the one below that is of the just low mounts. If you look at the two images below that, you will see that these are the low and rearward pegs for both sides of the bike.

Here is a great solution to clean up the looks of the backside of your XR650L. If you haven't already upgraded to the smaller and better looking WPS Tail light, select 'Bracket & Light' from the menu and you will get the WPS Taillight AND the License Plate Holder.
Please note that this no longer has a window for a license plate light. To stay legal, you can mount one or two License Plate Lights to your plate holder, or you can check out the LED License Plate Frame.

Seat Concepts seats are constructed using a foam material that is a much higher quality than OEM seat foam.
