My factory rec was busted when I bought my bike. Needed to replace it, figured I might as well upgrade to the newer mosfet tech. Installs fairly easily with the procycle adapter plate. Yoy will need to pay attention to the wires, as it is possible and even desirable for some wires to be trapped behind the rec while others aren't.
Can't rate it for longevity yet, but at least my battery charges now.
