This month, we’re excited to feature ProCycle customer Jonathan Warstler from Northern Indiana! Jonathan enjoys spending time on his 2009 Suzuki DR-Z400S, which he purchased in 2019, and has modified to give '84-'88 DR vibes.
At time of purchase, Jonathan's DR-Z came with several modifications, including case savers, a full MRD Racing exhaust, several sprockets, and a tail tidy kit. Since then, he has added an RM-Z250 front fender, a skid plate, Doubletake mirrors, an LED headlight, new bars and grips, a seat cover, fork boots, graphics, tires, a JD jet kit, and an air box mod. He also put the stock exhaust back on, as the MRD exhaust was a bit too loud for his riding style.
Living in Northern Indiana, Jonathan doesn't have many grand adventure touring opportunities, but he makes the most of the single track woods riding available nearby. He has set up his DR-Z for trail riding and dirt road chasing. Last fall, he participated in the Turkey Gobbler Family Enduro for the first time.
Looking ahead, Jonathan hopes to take his bike to the northern half of Michigan to explore their ORV trails and eventually try the BDRs available on the East Coast.
