On the road:
This fairing kit transforms the bike into a mile munching adventure weapon while still keeping it tough and nimble enough for the tighter trails.
The wind and weather protection this kit provides makes riding the bike at speed for prolonged periods a much more enjoyable experience. At the end of a day's riding you'll be amazed at how much better you feel having had the wind pressure removed from your body by the fairing.
Dominate on the off-road:
This fairing doesn't just improve the cruising style type adventure riding but with the extra wind deflection, and the added space to lean forward that a fork mounted screen doesn't allow, you can really get stuck in and attack the trail while doing your best Cyril Despres impression. Its even handy for hiding behind while you bust through an overgrown single track (or while your buddies throw roost at you).
Reclaim your handlebars:
Fitting the kit allows you to move your GPS and other accessories up on to the dash panel and into view. This clears the deck and frees up your once cluttered handle bars making GPS navigation on the move a much safer and less stressful exercise.
The kit also comes with new speedo mounting brackets that bolt to the triple clamp to raise the speedo up into a better viewing position. This bracket doubles as a wiring tray keeping all your cables and connectors secure and out of harms way while keeping things neat and tidy.
Improved handling:
With the Suzuki bikes original setup the heavy stock headlight, heavy steel brackets, plastic shroud, screen, AUX lighting, GPS, charge sockets and any other accessories you might have can add up to a considerable amount of weight pulling on your steering.
With the Yenkro Rally Fairing Kit all that weight gets removed from your forks which allows the steering to do what it needs to do. Most riders have reported surprising gains in the bikes handling and front end grip after they fitted the kit.
See the light:
The kit comes standard with high and low road legal hella projectors that easily out perform the stock light plus for the offroad and rally racing types they have an led upgrade package for either the high beam or high and low beam. Perfect for some bush night riding.
(The standard lighting supplied with the kit are a pair of hella 60mm projectors, one for high and one for low, these are 60w halogens and are DOT and ADR approved.
For off road use they have some led upgrade options that replace the halogen modules. They can replace high beam only, or high and low beam using the diode dynamic ss3 pro modules using either sae driving or combo beam for high and an sae fog beam for low.)
Crash tested... again and again:
We all know that if you aren't crashing you aren't trying hard enough so with that in mind this kit has been designed to take a hit and bounce back.
Their new and unique cross linked polymer monocoque tower/headlight module makes the kit tougher than ever. The polymer tower allows a bit of flex and dampens harsh vibrations so it can easily cope with the rigors of adventure riding and rally racing.
In that big 'off' that we all hope never happens the tower protects itself and the accessories mounted to it by swivelling sideways on impact, this limits any damage caused to the bike, kit and your expensive accessories.
The screen and body work are rubber mounted to help reduce damage in a crash.
Flexibility:
The fairing kit comes with two different height quick change screens so you can choose what screen suits you and your riding the best.
The kit can be run with or without the side panels which allows you to mix and match what fuel tank you’ll be pairing the kit with.
The side panels are sold separately so if you decide you want a different tank or just a different look you can without having to buy a complete kit to suit.
Performance and Safety:
The screens are made from an Australian made high impact acrylic that gives a great balance between impact resistance, toughness and optical clarity.
The side panels are made using a variety of fabrics including Basalt and Inegra to create a panel stiff enough to support itself, tough enough to take a hit.
The screen and side panels use a post and grommet mounting system that not only allows tool-less and quick removal of the screen and panels but also means they're more likely to pop off in a crash rather than get damaged.
Plug and play:
They've developed the kit to be mechanic friendly, easy to fit and easy to work on.
The kit attaches to the bikes frame in minutes, normally takes longer to remove the stock headlight than it does to bolt the kit to the bike.
Wiring and adjustment take a bit longer but its not difficult and all the wiring needed to get up and running is a simple plug in.
They've included a Qc3 usb charge socket and they’ve even run some spare wires into the tower for you if you want to add more items.
