The Honda NX500 was introduced for the 2024 model year as a renamed and redesigned version of the CB500X, positioning itself as an approachable lightweight adventure motorcycle that balances affordability with capable performance. At its heart is a 471cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces smooth, usable power across the rev range and has been tuned for optimal low to mid-range torque delivery. The NX500 weighs 432 pounds, making it 7 pounds lighter than its CB500X predecessor, while maintaining the accessible character that makes it ideal for both new and experienced riders seeking adventure touring capabilities without the intimidation factor of larger ADV bikes. Affectionately referred to as the "Half-Rica Twin".
