Bill Quaccia's Kawasaki KLX300

This month, we’re excited to feature ProCycle customer Bill Quaccia from just down the road in Southern Oregon! Bill has an impressive collection of bikes, including a 2015 KLR650, a 2021 KLX300, and a 1977 Yamaha XT500. He also owns several Triumph Cubs and twins, BSA singles, and Ariel singles, including a '58 HT5, '55 HS, and '47 Red Hunter.

Bill has made several modifications to his Kawasakis. His KLR features a JNS skid plate, KLR Dash with ZeroGravity shield, and TourTech racks, while his KLX is equipped with an IMS fuel tank, Ricochet skid plate, PMS racks, and a TwinAir filter.

Having lived on Kodiak Island in Alaska for 35 years, Bill has had plenty of off-road riding experiences while still maintaining his distance from the big brown bears! Throughout his life, he has ridden various smaller enduro bikes, including Triumph Cubs, BSA Victors, Yamahas, Hondas, Hodakas, and Bultacos. He carries on that tradition with the KLX300, which he describes as a bulletproof, lightweight, affordable, go-anywhere motorcycle that he fondly calls the "21st Century Cub."

Looking ahead, Bill plans to stay closer to home, as Southern Oregon and Northern California offer all the off-road adventures he needs. With the Rogue, Umpqua, and Klamath Rivers, as well as the Siskiyou Mountains, there's plenty to explore, especially with the great weather in the region.
