DP brakes are available in two different compounds for the DR. 

The standard Sintered metal material pads provide powerful braking with industry-high HH+ friction rating that is equally adept in wet or dry conditions. They have a quick break-in period and excellent initial response. An oxide-based ceramic material on the rear of the backing plate keeps heat away from the caliper piston and fluid in extreme conditions giving a fade-free performance in even the harshest conditions.

The material in the Special Pads was developed by pro riders in the MX, Supercross, Enduro and Off-Road world where performance and good durability are essential.

Includes front and rear brake pads.

Sport Carbon pads:  

• Carbon graphite "X" pads blended with Aramid for leisure/sport use
• Low heat generation
• Best for fast, dry riding; not for mud, water, or sand
• Offroad, Semi-sintered metal

Sintered Pads: 

• The perfect brake pads for leisure use
• Offer maximum durability and excellent braking performance
• Constructed of U.S.-made sintered bronze for longest lifetime
• Best for riding in water, mud, dust, or sand

Race Sintered:

• High performance race pad with superb durability similar to that of the sintered pad.
• Higher friction level and fade resistance
• Diamond ground surface finish to speed bed-in
• Comes with new pad pins
• Race Sintered are designed for racing use only; not for street use

• Sport Carbon pads are made for fast riding in dry conditions. Not recommended for mud, water, or sand

EBC brake pads contain aramid fibers; these are man-made high-performance fibers used widely for their light weight, high strength, abrasion resistance and thermal stability.
