The stock Barkbuster like hand guards clear the windshield at full lock while the shield is forward mounted and upright allowing the shield to work well while you are standing on the pegs and moving around on the bike off-road. On the street, you can expect smoother, quieter, over the helmet air flow while improving fuel economy and comfort. The Parabellum screen for the CRF1000L mounts easily with an included screw kit in the stock location. It's made from 3/16 inch cast acrylic and is 16 inches wide at the top. The windshield is available in clear or tint and 3 different heights.

The Dynojet Auto Tune kit is an "add on" accessory that can be used with any of our Power Commander V’s. It connects to the PCV with a single cable and requires only a ground and +12 volt connection to be made to install. If your exhaust does not already have one, a "weld in" O2 sensor bung is included.
Once installed, the Auto Tune kit monitors the fuel mixture (by installing the included Wide Band O2 sensor in the exhaust). It then sends this information to the Power Commander V and automatically corrects it while you ride. Each map that we offer has preset Air/Fuel ratio values included that we find to be the best overall settings. This lets you simply plug in the unit and let it do the work.
Replace these any time you feel excessive play in the sprocket hub.
Excessively worn dampers can cause the cush hub bearing to fail - which will ruin your sprocket carrier.

Ride once with a set of TechSpec Tank Grip Pads and you won't want to ride without them again. Measuring just .125" thin, you'll feel the difference the minute you throw your leg over and take a seat. The pads improve the relationship between you and your machine! Yep, now you can squeeze it, grip it and rip it!
This precut kit includes right and left grips along with a custom center tank piece that can give you additional grip as well as padded protection. Also reduces abrassion damage to the center area of the tank.
Please note that the two options are made from the same material. The Red/White/Blue set is NOT the color of the Grip Pads, but the color of your Africa Twin. These are cut slightly lower to meld more beautifully with that great paint scheme. If you have any other scheme, please order the Standard Pads.
Three-stage removable, reusable, black nylon push rivets. Comes in a package with 10 individual rivets. The Africa twin has lots of these holding together the body work. They are easily lost or damaged. Carry some spares in your tool kit.
Do you have the SW Motech Centerstand and Skid Plate mounted to your Africa Twin? If so, it is a great idea to mount up the Skid Plate Extension. This plate adds protection to the undercarriage where the engine guard ends, giving you a more complete protection system. 3mm thick aluminum plate mounts to tabs that are built into the Centerstand. The Centerstand and the CS Extension function seamlessly together. These two pieces assure that you are completely protected down under. Kit includes Centerstand, hardware and detailed instructions.
Please Note that this Skid Plate Extension is only compatible with the SW Motech Skid Plate and the SW Motech Centerstand.
The Safari Bash Plate is a bit bigger and more protective than the Big Tour model. Made from the same 5mm 5083 plate, this plate extends further up the front and around the sides of the motor. There is a specific DCT model that wraps up even further to help protect the important parts on the right side. (See last image.)
Fits with the OEM centerstand, but will NOT work with lower engine crash bars. Will work with Upper Crash Bars from SW-MOTECH, Hepco and Becker and OEM Honda units. Remember, all B&B bash plates are quality built and supplied with all necessary hardware and detailed instructions. Foam or rubber is included wherever it is required.
The Big Tour Bashplate from B&B Off Road Engineering is built from 5mm 5083 aluminum plate providing protection from rocks and sticks and other debris. This plate will work with the OEM centerstand and most crashbars.
If you are headed out for miles of back roads and trails, please consider the more protective Safari model. All B&B bash plates are quality built and supplied with all necessary hardware and detailed instructions. Foam or rubber is included wherever it is required.
The SW-Motech Centerstand is something that should be an OEM item. Essential for flat tire repairs, tire changes, chain maintenance, oil changes, loading/unloading luggage and many other day-to-day maintenance operations.
Integration with OEM exhaust and sidestand is exceptional. The extended foot lever maximizes leverage making for easy elevation of your Twin. There are no penalties in clearance for these benefits. Tubular steel construction with a heavy-duty black powder coat provides for a stable foundation for supporting your motorcycle. No sacrifices were made to the performance or clearance of the Twin.
Installation is a simple bolt-on procedure; no drilling, cutting, welding or relocating other components for fitment. Package includes all necessary mounting hardware and detailed instructions.
Please Note that the Centerstand works perfectly with the Skid Plate Extension.
ProTaper's ADV handlebars give you a bar taller than most with extra space on the control portion of the bar. These bars provide an additional 20mm of space next to where your levers and throttle are located for your GPS, phone cradle, auxiliary switches, etc .
