TechSpec’s Motorcycle Tank Grips were developed to improve body, bike control and increase riders comfort. Gripping your motorcycle between your knees or thighs improves overall control of your ride by better securing your body weight and seat position under the forces of braking, cornering and acceleration while also relieving pressure from your wrists, elbows, shoulders and lower back giving you increased control and a more comfortable, safer ride. Snake Skin is a thin, .125” medium durometer “rubber” material that offers a secure, comfortable grip, durable protection and a clean stock look.

Snake Skin is a thin, 0.125” medium durometer “rubber” material that offers a secure, comfortable grip, durable protection and a clean stock look.
This precut kit includes seven pieces, center tank protector included. The tail section is not included. This product is made using their aggressive adhesive.
White matte finish may absorb adhesive, staining paint.
These great grip pads give you that improved relationship between you and your machine. You will feel the difference the minute you throw your leg over. Squeeze your tank and feel what a solid seat position is and does for you. They will assist in reduction of vibration, increase in control, and increase in comfort.
Will also help you cover wear spots on your tank whether it be the stock metal or a plastic tank. We tested had a couple sets of these on bikes with plastic tanks for at least 3 years and saw no signs of bubbling, peeling or coming off in any way.

This precut kit includes right and left grips along with a custom center tank piece that can give you additional grip as well as padded protection. Also reduces abrassion damage to the center area of the tank.
Please note that the two options are made from the same material. The Red/White/Blue set is NOT the color of the Grip Pads, but the color of your Africa Twin. These are cut slightly lower to meld more beautifully with that great paint scheme. If you have any other scheme, please order the Standard Pads.

The Snake Skin material is their 'Premier Product' at just .125" thin. This precut kit includes three pieces: right & left tank grips and a center tank piece.
We worked with TechSpec to have them make custom tank grip pads that look great on both Acerbis (5.3 and 6.6 gal.) and IMS tanks. These pads not only cover those ugly scuffs, but give great knee grip to the slippery plastic.
These have been tested on two of our shop bikes for over 3 years, they did not bubble or peel off in any way.
