Modification is required for proper rear fender fitment on ES, S, and SM models.
- Trace your cut line using a paint sharpie or dry erase marker. Use the stock fender as reference.
- Drill a hole in the plastic where the two cut lines converge. This will prevent over cutting or cracking.
- Use a dremel, a hot knife, or a hacksaw to cut the plastic. Do not use a box knife or any other kind of knife. Using a knife does not give you control over the cut and can cause the plastic to crack.
- Use a file or sandpaper to smooth the edges of the cuts.
