Engine & Maintenance
Two feeler gauges with angled ends to make checking the clearances easier. Stock valve clearances are .004" intake and .008" exhaust (.10mm in. and .20mm exh.)
- Allows precise valve lash adjustment without disturbing the setting when the lock nut is fastened
- Knurled knob on adjuster drivers ensure a precise and secure grip
- Integrated repositionable wrench handle holds the lock nut while the drivers are used to loosen or tighten the valve adjustment screw
Set includes:
- (1) 10mm steel socket wrench
- (1) 3mm square tappet adjuster
Your automatic cam chain tensioner is spring loaded. This can make it difficult to install as it wants to extend before you have it bolted into place. This handy tool will back off the cam chain tensioner mechanism and hold it for you. No more awkward 3-handed contortions are required to get the tensioner installed.
A 'wrench style' tool to turn the 'square top' tappet screws. The wrench does a better job of holding the adjuster screw still while tightening the locknut. Slim and flat, this tool is easy to carry in a tool pack.
Fork Cartridge Dampers, Suspension
Use this installation tool from Cogent to be sure that your Cogent Drop-in Dynamic Cartridges are installed correctly. A strong magnet in the end holds the cartridge firmly while you lower it into your fork leg. Then slide the spring over the tool until it holds the DDC down, then gently remove the tool. That simple. Never again question if it is properly seated on the damper rod.
Works equally well for removal when you need to change your fork oil. Also works great with Race Tech Emulators.
Fork Seals & Bushings, Suspension
Innovative design makes tool easier and more secure to use than old fashioned pin-aligned drivers
- Knurled anodized aluminum locking ring
- Perfectly weighted to drive seals
- Carbon steel body halves
Forks, Suspension
Keeps the damper rod from turning so you can remove the bottom fork bolt. Perfect when replacing fork seals or installing cartridge emulators. It's a good addition to any tool box as it will fit many other bikes.
Headlight
These thumb-screws replace the stock headlight adjustment screws. These adjusters make it much easier to keep your headlight aimed properly. This is even more important if you are running the HID headlight as it is very easy to dazzle oncoming traffic if your headlight isn't aimed correctly.
