This durable, steel crafted SW-MOTECH Upper Crash Bars Engine Guard protects the tank, fairing and radiator of your Tenere 700 from damage caused by either debris on the road or a crash.
The tough-built, steel constructed bars can ONLY be mounted with SW-MOTECH Lower crash bars (sold separately).
Each engine guard is powder coated black for a sleek finish which remains durable after prolonged use and protects against corrosion caused by the elements.

Like most machines, the OEM pegs on the Africa Twin are for the birds. They are small and provide a minimalist platform to control the motorcycle and they are uncomfortable if you stand on them for very long. You can install new, larger pegs or you can bolt on these beautiful aluminum extenders on top of the stock units. You can see the stock peg inside the topper in the upper image.
If you stand for very long these pegs will pay for themselves quickly. CNC machined with slightly rounded edges on the teeth so they won't eat up the soles of your boots, then anodized black, these are pretty and functional. 2.32" x 3.38" is nearly double the contact area of the stock pegs. Mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included, making installation a snap.
These pegs from SW Motech are a very cost effective way of getting a much larger footpeg than stock under your feet (2" by 3"). The removable and replaceable rubber cover is a another great feature. It helps isolate vibrations through your feet on those long highway jaunts but you can remove it in a few minutes when you get into slippery conditions that require better traction. Last but not least, you can change position a full 15mm. Two mount holes where the peg bolts to the mount allow that much adjustability. Entire peg mounts right up to your stock frame foot peg mount, no modifications necessary.
The pegs are made out of stainless steel and attach to a CNC machined aluminum bracket that goes into your stock mounts on your DL. These can replace your worn out stock pegs, give you a rubber peg when needed and a serrated edge when needed and look great doing it, what more could you ask for?
The headlight guard with transparent and extremely strong protective screen made of Makrolon keeps out stone chips and other objects. The support frame is made of laser cut and high strength steel.
The gear lever for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 made of high-quality aluminum alloy can be adjusted to find the optimal gear position.

Constructed of a 4mm-thick aluminum base plate and 3mm-thick side plates for heavy-duty, light-weight protection. Where the base plates and side plates overlap, it forms a riveted 7mm-thick rail for extra rigidity. Base plate includes side protectors that wrap around the engine block to provide both bottom and side protection.
Installation of the SW-Motech skidplate requires previous installation of the SW-MOTECH crashbars, which are sold separately.

Constructed of 3mm-thick (1/8"-thick) aluminum for heavy-duty, light-weight protection. Baseplate includes side protectors that wrap around the engine case to provide both bottom and side protection.
This skid plate is extremely strong, manufactured from a 5 mm aluminum bottom with 4 mm thick side walls, offering complete protection of the engine block. This unit is built with precision-manufactured mounts that fit directly into the existing frame mount, creating a robust connection that distributes the forces not only to the mounting points but also to the bikes steel frame in case of ground contact. 8 mm strong rubber sliders also help to absorb and distribute impact forces. This unit completely replaces the wimpy stock plate constructed from just 2.5 mm material.
In addition to providing better protection and a sliding surface for impacts, this guard also offers better header and exhaust protection.
