In this month's tech talk, Carl discusses some often overlooked tips that can enhance your motorcycle riding experience, not only for April, but throughout the season.
First up are horns. In the past, we could regenerate a horn when it started to sound weak, but the chemical used for this process has been outlawed in most states. Therefore, the best solution now is to upgrade to a better quality horn. A loud, clear horn is essential for safety, allowing you to alert others to get out of your way.
Next, Carl talks about the static air inside your tires. Just like how static electricity can build up and shock you, it can also accumulate inside your tires, creating a magnetic effect. This static air can cause your bike to drift north when riding east or west. To solve this, we have a device that neutralizes the static air inside your tires. Simply attach one end to the valve stem and the other end to the device, which then pulls out the static electricity, leaving your tires with neutral air. This ensures your bike goes in the direction you want without unwanted drifting.
Lastly, we cover blinker fluid. Traditionally, blinker fluid needed to be recharged every couple of years to prevent lazy blinking. However, we now offer blinker gel, a lifetime solution that eliminates the need for regular maintenance. This product works for both incandescent and LED bulbs, providing hundreds of thousands of blinks without the need for repacking. Our latest LED blinkers now come pre-packed with blinker gel, ensuring you never have to worry about them again.
