990 Adventure

  The KTM 990 adventure came to be in 2006 as the successor to KTM's 950 adventure and stayed in production until 2013.  The 990 adventure has a DOHC 999cc 75* V-twin motor with 11.5:1 compression ratio mated to a 6 speed transmission. 105hp and 74lb-ft of torque. The dry weight is 461 lbs. and has a 34 inch seat height with a 19.5 L (5.2 gal) fuel capacity.

990 Adventure '07 - '13

Seat Concepts seats are constructed using a foam material that is a much higher quality than OEM seat foam. Their proprietary formula provides a more plush and active ride, while still offering the necessary amount of support. Their unique comfort shape maintains a similar contour to stock at the front of the seat so the rider’s legs are not spread farther apart, but tapers out towards the mid-point to distribute rider weight over a greater area.

These features combine to offer a custom seat feel, and provide greater enjoyment and increased range on a long commute, or adventure ride!

The Foam and Cover Kit is only for the OEM pan. It DOES NOT include the pan.

This is the secret for being able to put in those 500 mile days. Even a good touring seat can feel a bit firm after a couple hundred miles. Sheepskin gives that little bit of 'cush' and provides superior air circulation. Velcro straps allow easy removal when you don't need it. Measures 14" wide by 19" long.

This seat is black 'carbon fiber' on top and 'asphalt' on the sides, with red welts, exactly as shown. Slight discrepancies with cover under seat, and slightly off center foam thickness, indicated in pictures. As is, no warranty.

Corbin seats are carefully designed to provide a comfortable riding position. They are firm and supportive which allows you to ride all day without fatigue unlike the stock seat.
