CRF450X: Seats

Seat Concepts seats are constructed using a foam material that is a much higher quality than OEM seat foam. Their proprietary formula provides a more plush and active ride, while still offering the necessary amount of support. Developed for Baja racing, their comfort model maintains a similar contour to stock at the front of the seat and tapers out towards the mid-point to distribute rider weight over a greater area. The Comfort seat is wider than stock, but not so wide that it would hinder movement in aggressive race situations.

The comfort model strikes the perfect balance between an aggressive race profile and a wider more comfortable seat.

Comfort Cell foam retains resiliency and doesn't crush down like the stock foam so they can build a lower seating platform. This gives you better ground reach and balanced riding position. For the off-road enthusiast they were sure to leave enough nose to allow you to slide up the tank and get through the corners faster.

As you're seated, the bones in your posterior that take most of your body weight are roughly seven inches apart. Your stock seat at its widest point is about 6.5". This actually makes the foam of the stock seat crush in and applies pressure to the center of your body. The Corbin model is much wider (nine and a half inches) and is built with denser, sculpted foam that supports your body weight over a greater area and equalizes pressure.

Shown here with Carbon Fiber leather seating, Asphalt vinyl sides and a Ninja Red welt for a nice custom touch. The traditional Corbin logo is stitched right into the side panel. Installation is simple with a tongue in the front and two bolts into the saddle from the sides just like stock.

The default vinyl choices are black 'carbon fiber' on top and 'asphalt' on the sides, 'no welts', black logo. You can view all of the available materials and colors through the link below. This is the secret for being able to put in those 500 mile days. Even a good touring seat can feel a bit firm after a couple hundred miles. Sheepskin gives that little bit of 'cush' and provides superior air circulation. Velcro straps allow easy removal when you don't need it. Measures 14" wide by 19" long.

9" by 9" carbon fiber seat warmer that goes between your seat cover and the foam to keep your backside happy on those really cold days. This improved design produces 25% more heat than most other warmers using just 30 watts.

Kit includes the warming unit, with connector, 24" extension cable, rocker-type on/off switch and stub to splice into your wiring along with complete detailed instructions.

This seat is black 'carbon fiber' on top and 'asphalt' on the sides, with red welts, exactly as shown. Slight discrepancies with cover under seat, and slightly off center foam thickness, indicated in pictures. As is, no warranty.
