Spark Plugs

A pair of NGK spark plugs. Yes, the DR650 single has 2 spark plugs. Keep your motor running right with some fresh plugs. Sold in pairs.

Dual Electrode spark plugs last longer than single electrode plugs because the wear is shared between electrodes.

Iridium spark plugs are made with higher quality materials. They last longer than standard plugs. You won't have to replace your spark plugs as often.

When choosing a plug the heat range must be carefully selected for proper spark plug performance. The two most common causes of spark plug problems are carbon fouling and overheating.

Carbon fouling can happen if you do continuous low speed driving, short trips, the air-fuel mixture is too rich, or lowered compression due to wear.

Overheating results in accelerated electrode wear and can cause pre-ignition. Choose a hotter plug if you experience carbon fouling. Otherwise we recommend standard temperature plugs to avoid overheating.

Scott's Stainless Steel Reusable Oil Filter

Superior Filtration:

This should be the last oil filter you will ever buy. Made from laser cut, medical grade, 304 stainless steel micronic filter cloth, this filter provides 200% more filter area than other filters in many cases. Most good paper filters will pass particles in the 90 to 95 micron range, and some tested, as much as 300 microns. Sand is about 125 microns and a white blood cell approximately 25 microns. Scott's stainless filter catches items down to 35 microns "absolute". The pleat seam is welded, able to withstand up to 600 degrees, not glued, like paper filters.

Cleanable and Reusable

Simply remove the filter, rinse in clean solvent and replace it, you're done. The filter can be cleaned with solvent, kerosene, aerosol carburetor cleaner, or any other degreasing agent, even common dish soap. You can blow air through the filter from the inside out to remove any small particles or cleaning agent from the screen.

Fork 'Solution Kit' with Cogent DDCs

Included in this kit are springs (your choice of stiffness), three bottles of five-weight fork oil, preload spacers, Cogent DDCs and new seals and wipers. Refresh those tired old forks and make them better than new. These DDCs from the gang at Cogent are easy to install. No taking the forks apart, no drilling of the damping rods, nothing. Just take them off, flip them over to drain the oil, add new 5w oil, drop in the DDCs and then add the springs and spacers and then install the caps and you will be riding in 30 minutes.

These Cogent Drop-in Dynamic Cartridges will vastly improve both the compression and rebound damping of your stock forks. These units have been given the seal of approval by the ProCycle staff for both performance and ease of installation. No disassembly of your forks, no drilling of damper rods. Just change the oil over to 5w and install the DDCs under the springs and hit the trails.

Stiffer fork springs are required for the full potential of the DDCs. Up to about 175 pounds (rider with gear on) we recommend the .50 kg/mm springs. 175 - 220 pounds (rider with gear on) should probably go with the .55 kg/mm springs. If you are over 220 pounds with gear, .60 springs will probably be best for you. Please call if you have any further questions.

Cogent 'Bling Ring' Preload Collar

This 'Bling Ring' replaces the two stock preload/lock rings. The ring is CNC machined aluminum with the additional thickness to provide superior support on the shock body.

Add the needle bearing thrust washer to make preload adjustments much easier. The ring then spins much easier against the spring making adjustments quite a bit easier.

This part can easily be added to the the Cogent or Race Tech Shock Shaft Assemblies, even after they are built. To add this to the stock shock, it is easiest if you do it during the rebuild process as it will not fit over the end and would require removing the clevis.

This kit consists of a fused (7.5A mini Blade type) harness that goes back directly to the battery for simplicity sake. ProCycle designed a better seat choice for the DR650. Our seats are built on stock seat pans to assure a proper fit. It works with any fuel tank - stock, IMS, Clarke or Safari. The top vinyl is a deep weave pattern to give some airflow between you and the seat. Sides are textured 'gripper' vinyl so you can get a good hold with your knees when necessary.

We designed our seat to be slightly narrower than the Corbin or Sargent to work better in those off-road situations when you have to stand on the pegs. The wider seats push out your knees making standing awkward. Our seat is also flatter up close to the tank to allow easier fore/aft body movement. Our seats are built on new Seat Concepts seat bases. Slime


Slime Tube Sealant is formulated and tested for use in all tube tires. Once installed, Slime remains liquid and will not harden or dry out. Slime is guaranteed for 2 years.

As the Slime treated tube rotates, centrifugal force pushes the sealant to the tread area creating a layer of protection, repairing punctures as they occur and treating existing punctures. Slime is not intended for use in tubes losing pressure from sidewall punctures, bead leaks, damaged rims or faulty valves. Slime for tube type tires is not recommended for use in tubeless tires.

  • Prevents and repairs punctures up to1/8".
  • Remains liquid inside the tire, coating the tread area as the tire rotates.
  • Non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-flammable, non-aerosol and water soluble.

Lowered Pegs and Tall Bar Kit

This kit is for those of you looking for a bit more leg and arm room in the DR cockpit. Included are ProCycle Low Pegs and our oversize bars.

  • ProCycle Low Pegs will drop your pegs by 1-3/4" and include wider MX style pegs that are much more comfortable when standing.
  • These are not only taller bars, but 1-1/8" at the clamp area for additional strength. They taper down to 7/8" on the ends so all the stock controls fit.
  • A new billet aluminum throttle tube is included.

Vista Cruise Throttle Lock Kit

Ease the pressure on your wrist during those long highway drones out to where the fun begins. ProCycle has developed this kit that includes a Vista-Cruise throttle lock, a specially modified alloy throttle tube and an anchor plate that attaches to your throttle housing. Just flip the thumb lever down to apply enough friction to hold the throttle in place. Use the supplied longer screw to attach the anchor plate to your lower throttle housing bolt hole. Also included is a tension adjustment tool that you can keep on your key ring. Keep the applied tension lightly adjusted so it's easy to roll the throttle off.
